What we're building
A centralised, organised, and enhanced repository of sermons from around the world
Sermons are scattered across YouTube, church websites, podcasts, and social media with no common structure or search layer. A believer looking for preaching on a specific passage has to check dozens of sources, sift through irrelevant results, and start again if they move on to another preacher or church. That is not a discovery problem — it is an organisation problem.
The goal of Sermon Registry is one structured home where any sermon can be found by scripture, church, preacher, denomination, topic, date, or language — and where the metadata makes it genuinely useful for study, not just discovery.

We add at least 3 verified churches per week, starting with the UK and expanding globally. Every church added opens the door to all its sermons.

Each sermon is enriched with scripture references, tags, takeaways, transcripts, and read-time estimates — turning raw media into a searchable, studyable record.
Supporting churches to come online
Many churches preach faithfully but never publish online. We help churches get their content to YouTube and into the directory, extending their reach beyond their walls.
Multilingual and global reach
We are building toward supporting sermons in multiple languages, making the archive accessible to believers well beyond English-speaking churches.
Accuracy and trust
Every submission is reviewed before publication. A smaller, accurate archive is more useful than a large, unreliable one — we prioritise quality throughout.

How it works
From a church listing to an enriched, searchable sermon — in three steps
Add a church to the directory
Every sermon belongs to a church. We add churches directly as we discover and verify them — around three new churches per week. Churches and congregants can also submit their own listing via the directory, providing name, denomination, location, service times, and contact links.
Sermons come in from YouTube or direct submission
Once a church is listed, we pull in sermons automatically from their YouTube channel or playlist. Anyone can also submit a sermon directly using the upload form — with the title, date, preacher, scripture references, and a source link.
Every sermon is extracted, enriched, and made searchable
We use AI to extract a clean transcript from the raw video captions, then enrich each sermon with scripture references, topical tags, categories, Bible characters, key takeaways, and read-time estimates — turning raw media into a structured, searchable record.
