I want to start with a story. My cousin and I got married around the same time in 1992—I married in March, she in January. By God's glory, we both became pregnant around the same time. She was my first cousin, and her mother had been like a second mother to me after my own mother passed away. She had stood in the gap for me while I was pregnant and unwell.
But then, unexpectedly, she stopped coming to see me. I didn't understand why. When I had my baby, I didn't see her. I didn't know how to reach out to her. It was very unlike her. Six months after I had my baby, I found out that my cousin had passed away while having her own baby.
We gave birth at the same time. My daughter is alive. My cousin's mother is no more. If that is not grace, I don't know what it is. This is where I come from when I say, "If it had not been for the Lord..."
Brethren, I'm not here to preach this afternoon in the traditional sense. I just want you to know that even as we celebrated Children's Day today, there are people who are joyous, counting their blessings—"Oh, I've got ten children. I've got fifty. I'm blessed." But think of those who are still in the waiting room. And it's not only children, brethren. It's not only children.
There is always something we are waiting for. The Bible says, "There shall be no barren in his land." So I don't want to focus on children alone today. Whatever it is you are looking up to God for—whether it's children, a job, finances, health, or establishment—there is always something.
When you look back at your life, there's always something to be grateful for. When my auntie came to tell me about my cousin, I stood at the door and said to her, "You left me. If my mother were alive, she would not have left me." She said, "If Bimbola were alive too, I would stay to look after her." And she repeated, "If only she were here."
It never occurs to you that things are happening just because you have not visited someone's grave or hospital in the last six months. You go to the gym. You live your life. But do you know what I comfort myself with? Bodily exercise profits little. Just because you have money to spend does not mean others are not waiting.
When I was told my cousin had passed, I couldn't stay in the dark for a long time. Not because I was afraid of death, but because we gave birth at the same time and I kept holding my daughter tightly, afraid. Her mother kept calming me down.
I asked her, "How are you still alive and she's dead?" She said, "It is God's will. I am alive today because God loves me. I am alive today by his grace. You are where you are today by his grace. You are a mother of children today by his grace and his grace alone. He maketh the barren fruitful."
I need you to look inwards this afternoon. Where do you think barrenness can be found? The Lord says there shall be no barren in his house. Where are you looking up to God for? When we are going through those challenges, when we are in the waiting room, it looks as if all doors are shut. "God, are you not there?" But he's there, brethren.
The only silent place in the world is the mortuary. That's why when I say, "It is well," someone told me, "Mommy, it is not well." I say, "It is well. It is still well." Learn to use positive declarations for yourself. "IT will surely end in praise, because by the words of your mouth, it will be established."
I am a mother of nations. Name the children. Name them. Even though you have not seen them, name them. There was a couple in church a few years ago. I said, "How will you have children?" The husband said, "They are not yet here." The wife said, "They are coming." I said, "I believe in the God of your wife, because they are coming. They are coming."
Delay is not denial, because a man can receive nothing—absolutely nothing—except it is given him from heaven. The breath in you, the job you have, the wife you have, the spouse that seems like a Jezebel—God gave you that person. If you know how to pray, you can turn things around. That man you are thinking of—what you think you cannot do, you can do. Believe me, prayer turns things around.
There's not much preaching today, brethren. Even I am strengthened because I danced so well in the first service. Please be encouraged.
Today we are going to do something very profound, and I need your help. We are going on our knees together. If you can lay down, lay down. I just need you bowed at your knees and begin to pray for those you know who do not have children to call their own. Speak into their lives. If you know their names, call them. They are mothers of nations. Call them. It is not too late for the timing of God. They are only in the waiting room.
First and foremost, thank God for them for being alive. Say, "Lord, I thank you. I praise you because you are the creator of heaven and earth." Thank God on their behalf. Thank God for those waiting for their purpose. Thank God for those who do not have people to call their own.
Go on your knees and bless the name of the Lord for their lives, because that which the Lord has proposed to do, he will do. Ask that by this time next year, in the calendar of God, the book of remembrance is open before God. Speak to God. Thank God for their bodies, that they are wonderfully and fearfully made. We will not believe the report of the world. His report says they are whole. Therefore, they will be fruitful and multiply, because it is the commandment of God.
Speak to God on behalf of these ones. Anywhere that you are barren, anywhere that you are waiting upon God for anything, ask God to come through for you. Don't pray for yourself alone. Pray for your sisters. Pray for your brothers. Whatever is militating against fruitfulness in the lives of the brethren, Father, come through for us.
Pray, brethren. Don't slip off. Pray. This is not the time to rest. Speak to God with me this afternoon. Remind him of his promises. His words are yea and they are amen. He is not a man that will lie nor the son of man that will repent. Speak to God this afternoon.
Wherever anybody is looking up to God for, "Baba, come by fire. Come, oh Lord, come, oh Lord, come. Come and show yourself mighty." Ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen them in the waiting room. Ask and it shall be given unto you.
Let's begin to thank God for the miracle of the fruit of the womb. Let's thank God for the miracle. When a child is delayed, we have heard in the Bible that these ones are mighty in the hand of the Lord. Pray for anyone you know that is in the waiting room. Pray for them as the Holy Spirit directs you. They will bring forth their miracle babies. In their marriages, they will be established.
Let's tell God, "Correct every disorder. Everything militating against me that will not find a job. Everything militating against your purpose as you look up to God for establishment, speak to God about that money." It's a lot of money the United Kingdom is asking for. "Lord, you will come through for me. Speak to God."
If you have gotten your papers, to God be the glory. Speak unto those that are still waiting that the Lord will provide money. They will not lack anything good in the name of Jesus. Pray that everyone whose head is bowed in this assembly, the Lord will come through for them. Wherever there is a casting down, Lord, you said there will be a lifting up. Let there be a lifting up.
Pray, brethren. Help me to pray. Our knees are bowed today. Our knees are bowed. Activate every delay. Take away every delay in everyone's life that is waiting for the fruit of the womb. Take away every delay. Activate those wombs. Every sleeping liver, every sleeping womb, we activate you right now by the power of the Most High God.
The blood of Jesus, purge us. Purge them of every delay. Purge them of every man-made problem, every man-made challenge. Purge them. Purge us, oh Lord. Make a way where there seems to be no way. Lord, make a way where there seems to be no way.
Lord, restore every fertility. It is your word that says be fruitful and multiply. Who can stand against your word? Who can speak when you, the Lord, have not spoken? Father, everything the doctors are saying, bring them to null and void. Show yourself mighty, Lord, in those that are waiting in the waiting room. Show yourself mighty, Lord.
We want to seek you and find you. Father, open your ears unto us today in the name of Jesus. Restore every fertility. Let me not be barren in old age. Speak to God. Bring forth our Samuel. Bring forth our Elizabeth. Bring forth our Mary, Lord. Bring forth our Abraham in the name of Jesus.
The Lord is listening. The Lord is in the house. The Lord is in the house. Speak to God. For everyone going through divine health challenges, Father, restore them back to yourself. Restore them back to yourself. Reverse every negative report.
Whose report will you believe, brethren? We believe in the report of the Lord. His report says we are made whole. We are wonderfully and beautifully whole. Do not let the world ask, "Where is our God?" Do not let the world shame us. Lord, do not put your name in disrepute concerning our faith. Help us. Help our unbelief. Help this small faith, Lord. Help us. Lord, lift up our heads. Oh Lord, lift up our heads.
Oh Lord, in the name of Jesus, destroy every delay in the life of our sisters and our brothers. Destroy every delay in every marriage in the name of Jesus. Destroy every delay. For those that have their papers even in the Home Office, Father, destroy every delay in the name of Jesus.
Baba, remember us like Sarah. Remember us like Hannah. Visit us like Hannah. Lord, in the name of Jesus, in the place of bringing forth our glory, bringing forth our children, help our unbelief, Lord. There's nothing you cannot do. There's nothing you cannot do. Answer us like Elizabeth.
There shall be no barren land. Children are a reward. Baba, we seek our reward. We seek our reward. We break down every barrier that is not letting our sisters have their reward. We speak onto every marriage waiting in the waiting room. Father, call them forth. Oh Lord, visit these ones. Oh Lord, in every area that we have come short of your glory, Father, forgive us, oh Lord. Forgive us in the name of Jesus.
We ask for joy in every home. We ask for joy in every life. We ask for joy, oh Lord, in every department. Oh Lord, in the name of Jesus. Father, give us your joy. Give us your joy.
We decree and we declare we are a joyful mother of children. We are a joyful mother of children. You will conceive in the name of Jesus. You will bring forth, you will carry to full term, you will deliver safely in the mighty name of Jesus.
Father, we give you praise. In Jesus' mighty name we pray. Everlasting King of glory, we give you praise. This is what you ministered to me to do today. I ask, oh Lord, Daddy, that there will be signs and wonders in the mighty name of Jesus. Father, for this cause, oh Lord, we ask that there shall be testimonies in the name of Jesus.
This miracle that we have gotten today, the devil will not snatch it from us in the name of Jesus. Cause us, oh Lord, help us to be redeemed by your blood. Let every word you have spoken concerning each and every individual, let it come to pass. Amen. And let your name be glorified in Jesus' mighty name we have prayed.
