God has marked you for mercy this morning. The mercy of God is not based on our merit or what we deserve. Romans 9:15-16 tells us:
"For he says to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy. I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. It does not therefore depend on human desire or effort, but on God's mercy, not of him who wills, or not of him who desires, but of God who shows mercy."
This means mercy comes to us not because we have earned it through our efforts, running, capacity, or ability. It is purely God's choice to extend compassion. Every day, God's mercy is new every morning. His compassion never fails.
Many people confuse mercy and grace, but they work together in a beautiful way. Mercy withholds what we deserve. Grace gives us what we do not deserve.
We deserve judgment—mercy stops it. We do not deserve forgiveness—grace brings it. We deserve death—mercy withheld it. We do not deserve salvation—grace provided it through Jesus Christ.
Hebrews 4:16 brings these two together:
"Let us come to the throne of grace so that we may find mercy and help in the time of need."
At the cross of Jesus Christ, mercy and grace kissed. Mercy stopped the judgment we deserved. Grace brought the forgiveness and the shedding of the blood of Jesus that we do not deserve. This is the beauty of Christianity—mercy stopped the judgment, grace brought justification.
Ephesians 2:4-8 explains it powerfully:
"But because of his great love for us, God who is rich in mercy made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in sin. It is by grace you are saved and God raised us up with Christ. That is grace now and seated us in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus. In order that in the coming age he might show the incomparable riches of his grace expressing his kindness through to us."
We deserved judgment, but mercy stopped it. Grace then lifted us and placed us in a seat we do not qualify for. Imagine an angel coming and seeing ex-sinners seated in the highest places. That is the power of mercy and grace combined.
Now that Jesus has done all this, you must drop the burden of unworthiness. Stop saying, "I'm not worthy of his blessing." You are not worthy in yourself—but He has already lifted you. He has already paid the price.
Mercy has invited you to His presence. In Hebrews 4:16, we are told to come boldly to the throne of grace. The only thing that could have stopped us was the veil that said nobody could pass except the high priest. But when Jesus died, God tore that veil in two, and He said to us: you can enter.
Stop focusing on your flaws and look to the goodness of God. Mercy brought you this far. Mercy washed you by His blood. Mercy saved you. Mercy delivered you.
In 2 Samuel 9:1-13, we see a powerful example of what mercy can do. Mephibosheth was a prince by birth, but he was crippled—not by his own doing, but by the mishandling and mistakes of others. He was hidden away in a village called Lo-Debar, forgotten and alone.
But one day, King David asked, "Is there anyone in the house of Saul that I can show mercy to?" They brought Mephibosheth to the king's table. The Bible says they went with the king's chariot and brought him to the palace.
This morning, I prophesy into your life: covenant kindness will move you from obscurity to honor. The covenant kindness of God will move you from obscurity to blessing, from the empty place to the place of glory.
Mephibosheth had lost everything—his reputation, his place in society, his dignity. But David said to him: "I will restore all the land of your grandfather Saul to you, and you are always to eat at my table." Everything he had lost was restored. He went from being a forgotten cripple in a village called Lo-Debar to sitting at the king's table with the princes and champions of Israel.
The people of Lo-Debar used to mock him. They knew a prince lived in that house, but he was too crippled to come out. But mercy silenced his critics. Mercy brought him out from obscurity to honor. When Mephibosheth said to the king, "What is your servant that you should show such kindness to a dead dog like me?" David showed him the power of mercy.
From the bushes to the palace. From the place of shame to sitting with the sons of the king. I declare to you this morning: there is a turnaround coming. Everything that has become still and dead in your life will come alive.
David gave Mephibosheth not just a name and a seat—he gave him restoration. The farms of his father were working, and they brought the harvest to Mephibosheth. But more than that, the king said to him: "You will eat at my table for the rest of your life." New doors opened. New favor came. His story changed completely.
I speak into your life this morning: God is opening doors that will erase your path. Doors that will erase your failure. Doors that will erase the days of your loss. Doors that will erase the days of your poverty and lack.
Mephibosheth's name itself means "bringer of shame" or "from the mouth of shame." Everyone who tried to shame him, to embarrass him—God is turning it around. God is turning it around.
David did not look at Mephibosheth's name. He did not look at his feet. He did not look at the village where he lived. He did not look at the brokenness of his legs or the raggedness of his clothes. He did not look at a man who was probably eating leftovers brought by a servant.
But in one day, God turned it all around. By the mercy of God, one connection, one remembrance, one angelic remembrance turns your life around.
From the bush to the palace. I speak into your life: turn around. Turn around. Turn around. When they say it's over, God will do it for you in the name of Jesus.
In 1 Kings 3:5-13, Solomon asked God for wisdom. God not only gave him wisdom—He gave him riches, honor, and everything he did not ask for.
This morning, wherever you are, I prophesy into your life: divine generosity of heaven will meet with you. God will exceed your desire. God will exceed your prayer. God will exceed your cry.
We have an El Shaddai—the God of more than enough, the all-sufficient God. The day will come in your life when you will say, "God, if you don't do anymore, you have done more than enough. You have given me more than I could ask."
I lay my hand on you today: the God who is more than enough shows up in your life. I saw a revelation this morning. I saw someone who wrote down all the things they thought God would do in their life. And I saw a great hand come and tear it up—because what you wrote is small compared to what God is going to do.
I declare and decree: God will exceed your dream. God will exceed your prayer.
In 1 Kings 19:4-8, we see the prophet Elijah, the man who called down fire from heaven, now running from Jezebel. He ran and ran until he was exhausted. He sat down under a juniper tree and said:
"I've had enough, Lord. Take my life. I'm no better than my ancestors."
He lay down and fell asleep. Then the angel of the Lord woke him and said, "Get up and eat." The angel had prepared bread baked on hot coals and a jar of water. Elijah ate and drank and lay down again. The angel woke him a second time and said, "Get up and eat again, because the journey ahead is too long."
After that meal, Elijah had strength to travel 40 days and 40 nights.
Mercy for somebody who is tired and exhausted this morning: mercy will minister to you. If you are physically exhausted, receive mercy. If you are mentally exhausted, receive mercy. If you are financially exhausted, if you cannot even sleep well—receive mercy.
Mercy will open doors. Mercy will supply your need. There is a turnaround coming. There is a supply coming.
Elijah had defended God. He had stood against 4,000 prophets of Baal. But one woman, one spirit called Jezebel, scared him. Yet when he was exhausted, the angel of the Lord came to minister to him.
To every exhausted person on the altar today: God will strengthen you. If it is financial exhaustion, God will supply your need. If it is physical exhaustion, God will strengthen you. If it is emotional exhaustion, God will strengthen your heart.
New strength, new grace, new dimension of power is coming on your life in this season. When people think you are finished, God will renew your strength. God will renew your dream. God will renew your vision. God will renew your family. God will renew your life. God will renew your business in the name of Jesus.
In 1 Kings 17:8-16, there was a famine in the land—no food, no water. God sent Elijah to a widow of Zarephath. She had nothing. She was about to die. She had only enough flour and oil for one last meal for herself and her son.
But Elijah said to her: "Make me a small cake first, and then make something for yourself and your son." And the Bible says the jar of flour did not run out, and the jug of oil did not run out, for three and a half years—as long as Elijah stayed with her.
This morning, I speak into somebody's life in the middle of the scarcity of your nation: receive supply. Whether it is financial scarcity, physical scarcity, food scarcity, business scarcity—whatever it is, receive supply.
The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. These things are not in the Bible just for play. They are there to let you know that your Father has capacity.
This morning, I speak into your life: you will not run out of abundance. You will not run out of favor. You will not run out of blessing. You will not run out of breakthrough. It is not by your labor. It is not by your ability. It is by God.
Do you know what happened? The woman was connected to the anointing on Elijah. And as long as she was connected to Elijah, who was the conduit to the source, blessing flowed. God did not tell Elijah to leave, and as long as they were connected, the flour did not run out and the oil did not run out.
God chose to send Elijah to this widow—not to the king, not to the merchants, but to the woman who had nothing. Why? So He could show His power. You whom they say has nothing, whom they say cannot do anything—God will show His power through you. God will show His blessing through you.
What you cannot work for, mercy will bring. What you cannot achieve, mercy will bring. What you cannot slave for, mercy will make happen for you.
In 2 Kings 4:1-7, there was another widow in an even worse situation. They had taken every property in her house. They had taken all the furniture. Now they wanted to take her most precious possession—her sons—because her husband had died in debt.
But mercy cried out for this woman. She had only one thing left in her house: a jar of oil. Elisha told her: "Go and borrow vessels from all your neighbors—empty vessels. Do not ask for too few. Then go inside, shut the door, pour the oil into all the vessels, and set aside those that are full."
She did as he said. The oil kept flowing and flowing until she ran out of vessels. Then Elisha said to her: "Go sell the oil, pay your debts, and you and your sons live on what is left."
There was so much abundance that after paying off all her debts, there was enough remaining for her and her sons to live on comfortably.
I prophesy on you this morning by the mercy of God: you will not beg for bread. Every aspiration, every good dream of your mind—let them throw any bill at you. God will supply. God will supply.
Let them throw any bill from the left, from the right, from the east, from the west. God will supply. God will supply.
The Bible says that her sons told her, "There is no more port left. There is nowhere to put the blessing." The blessing was so great that they ran out of containers.
I lay my hand on somebody this morning: embarrassing supply. Embarrassing blessing. Embarrassing favor. Overflowing favor. Not by strength, not by man, but by the mercy of God.
In 2 Kings 4:8-37, there was a woman who made a room for Elisha in her house. She furnished it with a bed, a chair, a table, and a candlestick. Every time the man of God came to town, he stayed in that room.
One day, Elisha said to her, "You have shown us all this kindness. What can we do for you?" Her husband was old, and she had no child. Elisha said, "About this time next year, you will hold a son in your arms."
She did conceive and bear a son. But one day, the child became ill and died. The mother went to Elisha, and he came and laid on the child. The child sneezed seven times and opened his eyes.
By mercy, receive miracles. By mercy, receive miracles. What they said was not possible—she built a room for the anointing, made room in her house for the presence of God. And God not only gave her a child; when that child died, the grace of Elisha brought him back to life.
This morning, every dead dream, every dead vision in your life will come alive. There will be testimony. There will be testimony. There will be testimony in your life.
Any woman on the altar today who has been trusting God for the fruit of the womb: I lay my hand on your womb. I command babies. I command testimony. I command a turnaround. You will see the hand of God. You will testify.
The God who showed up for Noah and preserved him by mercy shall preserve you in the name of Jesus. What killed others will not touch you.
The God who showed up for Hagar, the slave woman whom Abraham sent out with her son—when she and her son were dying of thirst, God sent an angel to open her eyes to see a well. She called Him El Roi, the God Who Sees Me. God sees you. When men bypass you, God sees you. God will take care of you in this season.
The God who took Joseph—a slave boy sent to Egypt by his own brothers—and lifted him by mercy. Mercy, not language. He did not go to school, but mercy lifted him. Mercy will promote you in the name of Jesus.
The consultant who said he would block you, the line manager who said he would block you—I declare they shall be put to shame. The God who by mercy delivered Israel out of Egypt will deliver you. You are coming out of trouble. You are coming out of battles by the mercy of God. You are coming out of situations beyond your imagination by the mercy of God.
The God who delivered Rahab the prostitute and her household—He will show your household mercy. He will show you mercy in your work.
The God who remembered Hannah when even her pastor laughed at her—He will remember you. He will remember you in the name of Jesus.
Mercy will go for you where your qualification can never go. Mercy will open for you what your strength can never open. Mercy will restore to you what your own mistakes have damaged. Mercy will provide for you the resources that have disappeared.
Mercy will heal what medicine has struggled to do. What your doctors tried—this medicine, that medicine, nothing worked—mercy will heal you. Your body will be restored.
I lay my hand on your kidneys, your pancreas, your heart, your liver, your blood, your blood cells—the red ones, the white blood cells, the platelets. I lay my hand on your brain, your flesh, your tissue. I command total health and healing in the name of Jesus. What medicine has struggled to do, the power of God will do in your life.
Mercy will reverse everything considered irreversible for you in the name of Jesus.
This morning, I declare: mercy will bring another chapter. Everybody thought your story was over, but mercy is opening a new chapter.
Walk in provision. Walk in protection. Walk in prosperity. Walk in progress. Walk in power. Walk in possibilities. Walk in deliverance. Walk in breakthroughs in the name of Jesus.
Grace in the time of need will rise for you. Your mouth will be filled with testimony. Your eyes will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. You will celebrate and magnify God, and your life will never be the same in the mighty name of Jesus.
From this morning forward: mercy lifts you. Mercy directs you. Mercy will defend you. Mercy will sustain you. Mercy will speak for you where you have no voice.
When the blessing comes and men ask you, "How did you receive it?" You shall say: "I am a product of the mercy of God."
How did you overcome that? "I was preserved by the mercy of God."
How did you go through all that and come out? "I was sustained by the mercy of God."
When those who put roadblocks in your way find that you did not stop, you shall say: "I have advanced by the mercy of God."
When those who tried to surround you with enemies and weapons find that you came through, you shall say: "I have been surrounded by the mercy of God in Jesus name."

The God who remembered Hannah when even her pastor laughed at her—He will remember you. He will remember you in the name of Jesus.
Mercy will go for you where your qualification can never go. Mercy will open for you what your strength can never open. Mercy will restore to you what your own mistakes have damaged. Mercy will provide for you the resources that have disappeared.
Mercy will heal what medicine has struggled to do. What your doctors tried—this medicine, that medicine, nothing worked—mercy will heal you. Your body will be restored.
I lay my hand on your kidneys, your pancreas, your heart, your liver, your blood, your blood cells—the red ones, the white blood cells, the platelets. I lay my hand on your brain, your flesh, your tissue. I command total health and healing in the name of Jesus. What medicine has struggled to do, the power of God will do in your life.
Mercy will reverse everything considered irreversible for you in the name of Jesus.
This morning, I declare: mercy will bring another chapter. Everybody thought your story was over, but mercy is opening a new chapter.
Walk in provision. Walk in protection. Walk in prosperity. Walk in progress. Walk in power. Walk in possibilities. Walk in deliverance. Walk in breakthroughs in the name of Jesus.
Grace in the time of need will rise for you. Your mouth will be filled with testimony. Your eyes will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. You will celebrate and magnify God, and your life will never be the same in the mighty name of Jesus.
From this morning forward: mercy lifts you. Mercy directs you. Mercy will defend you. Mercy will sustain you. Mercy will speak for you where you have no voice.
When the blessing comes and men ask you, "How did you receive it?" You shall say: "I am a product of the mercy of God."
How did you overcome that? "I was preserved by the mercy of God."
How did you go through all that and come out? "I was sustained by the mercy of God."
When those who put roadblocks in your way find that you did not stop, you shall say: "I have advanced by the mercy of God."
When those who tried to surround you with enemies and weapons find that you came through, you shall say: "I have been surrounded by the mercy of God in Jesus name."
