God has designed that we find a revelation of Him in times of trouble, tension, or transition. Almost everyone here is either in trouble, under serious tension, or in a season of transition. In those seasons of need, we receive a revelation of God that becomes a conviction for us.
Many people have an opinion of God, but they don't have a revelation or a conviction. An opinion is something you hold, but a conviction is something that holds you—it's more like an arrest. When Abraham didn't consider the deadness of Sarah's womb but was strong in faith, giving glory to God, he knew that God could give babies and bring life from the dead. Many people hear this but don't know it because they lack the experience of it.
This teaching is so critical that as a human being, you will need it at least once or twice in your lifetime. Somebody who is sick is not looking for a job. I've seen people with money, gripped with death, ready to give anything for more time. This is why I came here in person—to make sure you're following me.
There is something called the law of deposit and withdrawal. If you want to buy a house for $500,000 and you go to the bank with only $50 in your account, you can write a check for $500,000 and sign it just like anyone else. When you give it to them, it's still a check. But when they check your check, it will bounce. Why? Because you want to withdraw where you didn't deposit.
Some people speak with authority because they've been depositing. When you observe someone speaking with authority in the spirit realm, they've deposited. The withdrawal looks easy because it's harder to deposit than to withdraw. Many people don't have deposits in the spirit—they're doing spiritual things on the day of trouble without ever building a foundation of faith. That's why they speak and their check bounces.
There are 26 healing miracles in the Bible. When we remove repetitions, here's how people received healing from Jesus:
This shows that even if you don't need healing yourself, someone around you might soon need it, and your faith can intercede for them.
"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." (Hebrews 13:8)
"For I am the Lord. I do not change." (Malachi 3:6)
Whatever God did in Scripture, He still wants to do today. Whatever we see God do, He does not change. If He did it then, He still wants to do it now.
"If you heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight... I will not put any of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you." (Exodus 15:26)
That word "who heals you" is Jehovah Rafa—the God who heals. This is His name, His character, His nature.
"So you shall serve the Lord your God, and he will bless your bread and water, and I will take sickness away from the midst of you." (Exodus 23:25)
"For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds, says the Lord." (Jeremiah 30:17)
These scriptures are your legal rights when you are in spiritual warfare for your healing.
"He did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all. How shall He not with Him freely give us all things?" (Romans 8:32)
If God gave us Jesus, how won't He give us healing?
"If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?" (Luke 11:13)
The word "evil" in Greek actually means unstable or shaky—not morally evil. It means: if you, being inconsistent, give good gifts, how much more will God, who is very consistent and never changes, give good gifts?
You don't earn healing because you're good. You receive healing because He's your Father. That's why it's called children's bread. The people who received healing from Jesus in the gospels were wicked people—people He called an evil generation. Jesus healed Judas's ear when Judas was about to betray Him. Jesus gave Judas His body and blood at the table, knowing Judas would go and crucify Him.
"Beloved, do not avenge yourself... For if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink... Do not be overcome with evil, but overcome evil with good." (Romans 12:19-21)
God does this to His enemies. If you only deserved God's goodness, it would mean that when you're evil, God will be evil to you. But Scripture says we who were once enemies of God, far off, have been brought near by the blood of Jesus.
Your qualification for healing is not that you are good. It's that you know He wants to heal you, and it's His nature.
"Jesus went about all Galilee teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people." (Matthew 4:23)
Jesus did not do ministry without healings. Healing is integral. When Jesus was preaching the word of God, He was also healing.
"Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father in me? The works that I do are proof that the Father sent me." (John 14:10-11)
These miracles are proof that the Father sent Him.
"He is the image of the invisible God." (Colossians 1:15)
That word "image" is icon in Greek. Just as you press an icon on your Bible app to enter the world of the Bible, Jesus is the icon of the invisible God. Press Him to see the Father. When Jesus was healing, He was healing because the Father heals. They are not separate in their nature.
"God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil." (Acts 10:38)
Where is the Holy Spirit today? In us. Why? To continue the ministry of Jesus. One of the reasons Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit is to continue healing. If God was no longer willing to heal, the Holy Spirit would not have come. But the fact that you have the Holy Spirit is proof that God still heals.
Some say signs and wonders ended with the apostles. But that doesn't make sense. You believe in the resurrection—the greatest miracle of all. You believe that when you die, your body will decay, but at the trumpet blast of His voice, you'll rise incorruptible. If you believe that, why don't you believe He can repair your body now?
"If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies." (Romans 8:11)
The Holy Spirit that raised Jesus will quicken (energize and vitalize) your mortal body.
Every Christian denomination believes that Christians need discernment. Yet we don't all believe that Christians can walk in healing. If we can discern, we can heal. Both are gifts of the Spirit.
Before you understand anything else in the Bible, study two things:
1. God as Father. Understand God as your Dad. It will change everything about how you read the Bible. When you read Scripture, you will see that God is for you, not against you.
2. God as Love. Not toxic love that gives you everything you want, but love that wants the best out of your life.
When you understand these two truths, you'll understand God's character and enter the revelation of His willingness to help you.
"Abraham prayed to God and God healed Abimelech." (Genesis 20:17)
This is the first time healing is mentioned in the Bible, and God initiated it. Nobody would have thought there was something called healing if God hadn't done it. If God didn't say healing exists, nobody would ask for it—we would just be sick and die. But He introduced healing into our broken world to help us.
This is enough proof that He is willing to heal, because you didn't have to ask Him to. He did it first.
"A leper came and worshiped Him, saying, 'Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.' Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, 'I am willing; be cleansed.'" (Matthew 8:2-3)
A leper wasn't even supposed to touch Jesus, and you weren't supposed to touch a leper. But to demonstrate His willingness, Jesus didn't just speak—He touched the man. That touch alone was healing. Jesus is showing: I am willing.
The doctor's report is a fact, not an evil report. An evil report is not about facts—it's about your interpretation of the facts.
When the 12 spies returned from Canaan:
"The men who had gone up with him said, 'We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we... We saw giants... and we were like grasshoppers in their sight.'" (Numbers 13:31-33)
The evil report wasn't that giants existed—it was that they said the giants were greater than them. They were stronger, more capable, more powerful. That interpretation is what made it an evil report.
You are partnering with the doctor. The doctor gives you precision: "It's a liver problem." Now you're not shadow-boxing. You know what mountain you're speaking to.
"Whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says." (Mark 11:23)
Jesus didn't just pray for miracles. He spoke to things. "Lazarus, come forth!" "Peace, be still!" "Stretch out your hand." He spoke to the withered hand. Jesus didn't pray about things; He spoke to things.
The only place where Jesus appeared to pray was at Lazarus's tomb—and it was a thanksgiving prayer:
"Father, I thank you because before I called, You have heard me. That this may know that You sent me." (John 11)
Then He spoke. He prayed first, heard what to speak, and then declared it in faith. Jesus had a technology. He didn't just speak; He heard what to speak.
Now there is something wrong with your body. You don't know what. The doctor tells you. So now you have precision. You speak to that specific mountain, not vaguely.
This is crucial. There are two distinct gifts:
"To another faith by the same Spirit. To another gifts of healings by the same Spirit. To another the working of miracles." (1 Corinthians 12:9-10)
Working of miracles:
Examples: Jesus spitting and creating eyes for a blind man. Healing a deaf ear. Commanding a man without hands to stretch forth his hand. Multiplying bread. These happen instantly.
Healings:
In Luke 17:14, Jesus told the lepers: "Go show yourself to the priest." As they went, they were cleansed. The healing was based on obedience—as they took steps, they got better.
With another blind man, Jesus touched him once and the man said, "I see men as trees walking." Then Jesus touched him again. That was a process.
Elisha told Naaman to bathe in the Jordan seven times. If he did it six times, no healing. Only the seventh time brought healing. This is why people get frustrated with healing—we always want working of miracles instantly. But many times, healing is a process requiring obedience and steps.
Jesus didn't heal one way. Some said, "Speak the word only." The centurion was healed with just a word. The woman with the issue of blood had to touch His garment. Jairus had to ask Jesus to come lay hands on his daughter. There are at least eight different ways Jesus healed in the Bible.
If Jesus is supposed to spit to create eyes and He just touches you, it won't work according to what He says. This is why the prophetic edge matters. God is saying: Don't use My gift without Me. If you do, you merchandise it.
"As the Spirit wills." (1 Corinthians 12:11)
When you want healing, you go to God with His Word. "God, You said in Your word that You will heal me." Then when you present yourself before Him, He gives you how He will heal you. Many times people say it didn't work because they didn't want to hear—they just wanted to collect.
When you are sick, the first thing you're looking for is not somebody to pray for you. There's nothing wrong with asking a pastor to pray—that's one way God heals:
"If any is sick among you, let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will heal the sick." (James 5:14-15)
But even with that method, God has to tell you that's the way. You pray:
"God, I have this infirmity. I'm trusting You for healing. I'm eating healing scriptures. I'm putting myself on this path. I'm reading these scriptures over and over."
Then He quickens it to you: "Go to your pastor. I've anointed them. Three days from now, at 3:00 p.m., receive this word of healing from Me. Then after three days, go to your pastor. They will anoint you with oil and pray. When you stand up from kneeling, there will be no sickness that can follow you because you did it in faith."
This is how faith works: by hearing what God is telling you. If you didn't hear, you're not in faith. Your hearing is what God is telling you as the foundation for healing.
You're not running up and down looking for prayer. You're going to God: "What are You telling me to do? How am I supposed to go about this? Am I supposed to lay my hands? Am I supposed to create a confession? What is it?"
Once you receive that word and do what He said, there is no devil that can stop it.
A young man had just given his life to Christ. He dreamed his boss was wearing a red shirt and black pants and told him to climb a ladder. In the dream, as he climbed, something happened and his head was cut off and fell to the floor. He woke up.
When he got to work, his boss was wearing a red shirt and black pants—sign one. The boss told him to get a ladder—sign two. When he was told to climb it, he saw something rolling and said, "I'm not doing it. I'm not doing it."
A deacon in the church was there and said, "Why are you being superstitious? Aren't you a Christian?"
The deacon climbed the ladder and did it. His head ended up on the floor.
The point: God heals, but people don't listen. There was an instruction waiting for him—a way of escape—that he didn't follow.
A woman with sickle cell disease went to church and received prayer. She became AS (genotype)—a medical miracle confirmed by hospitals. Ten years passed without a single crisis. Then she needed genotype testing and went to the hospital. It came back SS.
That night, she had a crisis. For 10 years, no crisis. The moment she saw it was SS, that night the crisis started.
What happened? The SS didn't change back to AS. God was helping her mind. She thought the crisis would happen, and it did. She lost the healing.
Healing is a state of mind. What God actually wants to give you is divine health—a state where whether you're AS or SS on paper doesn't matter. What matters is the divine health He puts in you.
I saw a woman testify that she beat cancer—a complete miracle. Months later, I learned from my sister that the cancer had come back.
She was healed. She lost the healing.
Here's what happens: Imagine you received a healing and feel better. The next day, you feel worse. A lot of people lose their healing because they receive something spiritual and try to validate it with sense.
"If we cast a demon out of a place, it will come back and browse if that place is still open. If the place is open, it will not come alone—it will come with seven more wicked demons." (Matthew 12:43-45)
That's how sickness works. You received healing of a headache. The next morning, the headache is there. If you say, "Oh, the healing didn't work. The headache came back," it will come with stomach pain, cough—seven more will join.
There is faith and faithfulness:
When you receive healing, you receive it by faith. You keep it by faithfulness. You say to yourself: "They healed me of this headache yesterday. Today it's here. I am faithful to the healing I received yesterday. I do not look at symptoms. I received my healing. I speak what I received."
"If I observe lying vanities, I forsake my mercy." (Jonah 2:8)
Don't speak the symptoms. Speak the healing. Your corresponding action must match what you received. That's why when Peter prayed for the lame man and he was healed, Peter didn't leave him sitting. He carried the man up, and the man was walking and leaping.
Many people are carrying the virtue of healing but there's no corresponding action, so they're losing the virtue.
If we heal people and don't teach them how to keep healing, we're doing them a disservice. They come back saying it didn't work. But we didn't teach them how to maintain it.
When Jesus multiplied bread, He didn't do it in isolation. You had to sit down quietly. He had people sit in fifties. They were organized. When He turned water to wine, you had to fill those six water pots with water. If you didn't fill it, no miracle.
Miracles come with instructions. This is not magic—it's God's technology. You have to participate. It's not: "If God is God, let Him do it now." That's not faith. That's presumption.
Faith is: "What is He saying? What am I supposed to do?" Faith includes action. In faith there is action. In faithlessness there is inaction.
Kenneth Hagen went to a healing tent with a friend. They prayed for a man and during the meeting, the thing they were praying about started to shrink. They left the place amazed.
The next day, the condition was back. Hagen asked the man: "What happened?"
The man said the healing didn't work. Hagen asked: "What did you do this morning?"
The man said he woke up, touched it, saw there was just a little there, felt pain, and thought, "I think this thing is coming back." He tapped it, went to bathe, and when he came out, it was back.
He lost the healing because he didn't understand that healing is spiritual. The problem isn't getting healing. The problem is keeping it.
When you receive prayer, don't check your body the next minute. If you received the healing, the receiving happens in the spirit. Symptoms will try to fight back. Stand in the healing you received. Speak it. Declare it.
If you need healing in any area—chest pain, migraine, eye problems, fertility, sleep issues, infirmity, shame—present yourself before God and ask: "What are You saying? What do You want me to do?"
Then do it in faith. Insist on it. Speak to the mountain. Declare: "I received my healing. That's settled." Let your corresponding action match.
The anointing breaks the yoke. God tears off garments of shame. Whatever the Father hasn't planted will be uprooted. Back issues, intimacy struggles, every sickness—the hand of God touches you and makes you well.

Then He quickens it to you: "Go to your pastor. I've anointed them. Three days from now, at 3:00 p.m., receive this word of healing from Me. Then after three days, go to your pastor. They will anoint you with oil and pray. When you stand up from kneeling, there will be no sickness that can follow you because you did it in faith."
This is how faith works: by hearing what God is telling you. If you didn't hear, you're not in faith. Your hearing is what God is telling you as the foundation for healing.
You're not running up and down looking for prayer. You're going to God: "What are You telling me to do? How am I supposed to go about this? Am I supposed to lay my hands? Am I supposed to create a confession? What is it?"
Once you receive that word and do what He said, there is no devil that can stop it.
A young man had just given his life to Christ. He dreamed his boss was wearing a red shirt and black pants and told him to climb a ladder. In the dream, as he climbed, something happened and his head was cut off and fell to the floor. He woke up.
When he got to work, his boss was wearing a red shirt and black pants—sign one. The boss told him to get a ladder—sign two. When he was told to climb it, he saw something rolling and said, "I'm not doing it. I'm not doing it."
A deacon in the church was there and said, "Why are you being superstitious? Aren't you a Christian?"
The deacon climbed the ladder and did it. His head ended up on the floor.
The point: God heals, but people don't listen. There was an instruction waiting for him—a way of escape—that he didn't follow.
A woman with sickle cell disease went to church and received prayer. She became AS (genotype)—a medical miracle confirmed by hospitals. Ten years passed without a single crisis. Then she needed genotype testing and went to the hospital. It came back SS.
That night, she had a crisis. For 10 years, no crisis. The moment she saw it was SS, that night the crisis started.
What happened? The SS didn't change back to AS. God was helping her mind. She thought the crisis would happen, and it did. She lost the healing.
Healing is a state of mind. What God actually wants to give you is divine health—a state where whether you're AS or SS on paper doesn't matter. What matters is the divine health He puts in you.
I saw a woman testify that she beat cancer—a complete miracle. Months later, I learned from my sister that the cancer had come back.
She was healed. She lost the healing.
Here's what happens: Imagine you received a healing and feel better. The next day, you feel worse. A lot of people lose their healing because they receive something spiritual and try to validate it with sense.
"If we cast a demon out of a place, it will come back and browse if that place is still open. If the place is open, it will not come alone—it will come with seven more wicked demons." (Matthew 12:43-45)
That's how sickness works. You received healing of a headache. The next morning, the headache is there. If you say, "Oh, the healing didn't work. The headache came back," it will come with stomach pain, cough—seven more will join.
There is faith and faithfulness:
When you receive healing, you receive it by faith. You keep it by faithfulness. You say to yourself: "They healed me of this headache yesterday. Today it's here. I am faithful to the healing I received yesterday. I do not look at symptoms. I received my healing. I speak what I received."
"If I observe lying vanities, I forsake my mercy." (Jonah 2:8)
Don't speak the symptoms. Speak the healing. Your corresponding action must match what you received. That's why when Peter prayed for the lame man and he was healed, Peter didn't leave him sitting. He carried the man up, and the man was walking and leaping.
Many people are carrying the virtue of healing but there's no corresponding action, so they're losing the virtue.
If we heal people and don't teach them how to keep healing, we're doing them a disservice. They come back saying it didn't work. But we didn't teach them how to maintain it.
When Jesus multiplied bread, He didn't do it in isolation. You had to sit down quietly. He had people sit in fifties. They were organized. When He turned water to wine, you had to fill those six water pots with water. If you didn't fill it, no miracle.
Miracles come with instructions. This is not magic—it's God's technology. You have to participate. It's not: "If God is God, let Him do it now." That's not faith. That's presumption.
Faith is: "What is He saying? What am I supposed to do?" Faith includes action. In faith there is action. In faithlessness there is inaction.
Kenneth Hagen went to a healing tent with a friend. They prayed for a man and during the meeting, the thing they were praying about started to shrink. They left the place amazed.
The next day, the condition was back. Hagen asked the man: "What happened?"
The man said the healing didn't work. Hagen asked: "What did you do this morning?"
The man said he woke up, touched it, saw there was just a little there, felt pain, and thought, "I think this thing is coming back." He tapped it, went to bathe, and when he came out, it was back.
He lost the healing because he didn't understand that healing is spiritual. The problem isn't getting healing. The problem is keeping it.
When you receive prayer, don't check your body the next minute. If you received the healing, the receiving happens in the spirit. Symptoms will try to fight back. Stand in the healing you received. Speak it. Declare it.
If you need healing in any area—chest pain, migraine, eye problems, fertility, sleep issues, infirmity, shame—present yourself before God and ask: "What are You saying? What do You want me to do?"
Then do it in faith. Insist on it. Speak to the mountain. Declare: "I received my healing. That's settled." Let your corresponding action match.
The anointing breaks the yoke. God tears off garments of shame. Whatever the Father hasn't planted will be uprooted. Back issues, intimacy struggles, every sickness—the hand of God touches you and makes you well.
