Welcome. I'm so glad you're here on this Monday night despite the traffic and the unusual timing. Yesterday I preached, and this morning while I was in the bathroom, something dropped in my spirit: demonic transactions. But as I meditated, I realized some transactions aren't just demonic—some are human. Whether demonic or human, they all share one thing in common: contrary transactions.
At every point in your life, transactions are taking place involving you. When two people are talking about you, that conversation lifts you up or brings you down. That's a transaction. This year and the next two nights, we are here to reverse every contrary transaction—in the spirit realm, the physical realm, and the mental realm—anything that will prevent you from glorifying God.
Your ability to glorify your Father in heaven depends on your ability to shine. Your ability to shine depends on your position and your prosperity. But certain human beings and demonic entities fight against your position and prosperity. We call them contrary factors.
In Acts 27:4, Paul was sailing toward Rome, and the Bible says, "the winds were contrary." That word means opposite, antagonistic. Today we come against every contrary wind to your journey. Every contrary personality. Every contrary spirit. Every contrary power. We come against contrary forces.
For the next three nights, I will teach on:
I'm not here merely to teach. I'm here to inject supernatural force into you so you will arise and take what is yours. If you don't understand this instruction, you will end up this year with nothing in your hands. But if you understand, from the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. I'm praying that from today through Wednesday you will recover something that belongs to you.
Every time you're walking about, there is somebody somewhere trying to impersonate you. Trying to behave like you. Getting into a certain position and taking what belongs to you.
I pray: "Heavenly Father, I come against every contrary wind, every contrary force, every contrary personality. I come against any spirit, any force fighting against my position, my prosperity. I come against contrary forces in the name of Jesus. Every contrary transaction—I reverse it."
Listen to the story of Esau and Jacob in Genesis 27. On paper, Esau was supposed to have the birthright because he was the firstborn. But when his father Isaac called him and said, "Go, kill an animal and make savory meat that I love so I can eat it and bless you," something happened.
While Esau was hunting, an impersonator came in—Jacob. I pray: "Any person going behind you, entering your place, spoiling your position, taking your prosperity—we strike the impersonator in the name of the Lord Jesus."
Isaac told Esau: "Go to the field and hunt venison for me, and bring it that I may eat and bless you before the Lord before my death."
Notice: "Before the Lord." Many of you have never seen the "before the Lord." You know He's going to bless you, but the blessing "before the Lord" means the Lord Himself will ordain it. The Lord Himself will endorse it. That's why sometimes the biological sons of great men of God cannot receive the blessing on their fathers' lives—because they never carried the blessing that brings blessing. Many children of men of God in their own denominations never have access to the anointing because other people understand the law of the venison, the law of carrying the blessing, more than the man's own children.
Your own children sometimes want to depend on you forever. When you teach them about giving and receiving, they get angry and rebel. But strangers know how to carry a blessing because they have no sense of entitlement and no complexity about it.
Rebecca heard what Isaac said to Esau. The original voice was Isaac's, but Rebecca had heard it. She told Jacob: "Behold, I heard your father speak to Esau. Come, go to the flock, fetch me two kids, and I will make savory meat for your father. You shall bring it to your father, that he may eat and bless you before his death."
Jacob said, "Behold, Esau my brother is a hairy man, and I am a smooth man. My father will feel me and I shall seem to him as a deceiver, and I shall bring a curse upon me and not a blessing."
His mother said, "Upon me be your curse, my son. Only obey my voice."
I want you to see something: Rebecca is a type of the Holy Ghost.
Everything Rebecca did for Jacob is what the Holy Ghost does for us. We are not qualified to go into the presence of God. But He takes the nature of Jesus Christ—the Lamb of God that was slain—and puts it upon us like the skins of the kids of the goats. Jesus Christ is hairy with the glory of God. We are smooth without the glory. But, as it is written, "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard the things that God has prepared for them that love him."
Jacob did not hear what Isaac said. But Rebecca heard. And the Bible says, "God has revealed them unto us by his Spirit." The Spirit is Rebecca.
Rebecca gave Jacob savory meat and bread. Just like the Holy Spirit gives us gifts—gifts with which we can go into the presence of God and serve God and serve people.
Jacob came to his father and said, "My father."
Isaac said, "Here am I. Who are you, my son?"
Jacob said, "I am Esau, your firstborn."
Was he lying? No. His mother told him to say that. The Holy Ghost said to say it.
I am a priest. I am a king. I am a prophet. Am I lying? No. The Holy Ghost told me to say that. Am I talking to somebody? I am the head and not the tail. But we can see you are the tail. No, I'm the head. The Holy Ghost said I am a priest. The Holy Ghost said I am a king. The Holy Ghost said I am blessed, not cursed. The Holy Ghost said I am the firstborn.
The Holy Ghost said, "Don't say you're sick. Say you're well." The Holy Ghost said, "Don't say you're dying. Say I shall not die, but I will live to declare the works of the Lord."
Jacob said to his father, "I have done according as you paid me. Arise, I pray, eat of my venison that your soul may bless me."
Isaac said, "How is it that you have found it so quickly, my son?"
Jacob said, "Because the Lord your God brought it to me."
Isaac said, "Come near, I pray, that I may feel you, my son, whether you be my very son Esau or not."
Jacob went near. Isaac felt him and said, "The voice is Jacob's voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau."
Isaac blessed the imposter.
Tonight, as I speak to you, somebody is carrying a bribe somewhere to take your blessing from you. We come against every such arrangement.
Jesus said through Zechariah, "It's not by might, not by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord."
Romans 9:15 says, "I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy and compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that wills nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy."
Jesus said, "I will pray the Father and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever. Even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive because it sees Him not, neither knows Him. But you know Him, for He dwells with you and shall be with you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things and will bring all things to your remembrance, whatever I have told you."
There is a Jacob somewhere. In the Genesis story, Jacob was prophesied into being. But in your case, there is a Jacob who is a creation of the devil—sent by human beings, principalities, powers, or demonic agents to take your blessing.
Here are three ways to reverse impersonation through the Holy Ghost:
Rebecca gave Jacob information. I pray the Holy Ghost will give you information. May your ignorance give way to knowledge.
Yesterday as we were driving, I was very tired. But the Lord led me and said, "Go to a certain friend's church and encourage him before you go to the hotel." I told my people, "Go straight to that church." One person asked, "Should I call and check if he's there?" I said, "Don't call. Just go." We arrived, and he was there. It was a blessing.
I pray you start listening to the voice of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost will say, "Get up and go to that office. Go here. Go there. Join yourself to this chariot."
May the Holy Ghost give you information. Somebody shout: Information!
They will ask you, "How did you know this? How did you know we were going to the fetish priest at this time? Who told you?" When you ask, "Who told you?" shout: Holy Ghost! Who showed you? Holy Ghost! Who revealed it? Holy Ghost!
Rebecca prepared the venison and gave it to Jacob. I call this innovation. The Holy Ghost makes you creative.
The Holy Ghost shows you what to do. You add this to that, to that, to that. Do it like this. Do it like that. Mingle this with that. Create something new. This is the way to prepare the dish. This is the way to prepare it. Be creative. The Holy Ghost gives you innovation.
May the Lord make you creative. May the Lord give you innovation.
Romans 9:15 says, "It is not of him that wills nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. It's not by might and it's not by power."
I see you faster. You are running faster. You are quicker than any impostor. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray that any impersonator on the way to take your blessing will be intercepted by the Holy Ghost. May God Almighty intercept them. You will arrive there before they arrive. You will get there before they get there.
The three tools are: Information. Innovation. Interception.
When we start praying, anybody under the sound of my voice who is aware that somebody is impersonating you—your salesman has built three houses, your saleswoman just bought a brand new car, your associate pastor is eating all the tithes—we are reversing this now.
By now the man who wants to marry you, another person is taking him. The woman you are supposed to marry, your best friend who you sent to talk to the girl—the man is taking over. By now your associate pastor is taking your chair. By now the business transaction you're supposed to have—somebody has seen a copy of the letter and is impersonating you.
Any businessman, politician, spiritual person, family person—I pray may you get the information to go ahead of them. May the Holy Ghost give you the innovation to go ahead of them. May you receive the power of the Holy Ghost to intercept them.
Some of you are under a spell. The spell is that what is yours, you don't like. What is not yours, you like. So by the time you would have gone far in life, another person takes what is yours.
I pray in the name of Jesus that God will give you advantage. Every spell on your life is broken. Every spell of deception is broken. Every spell that makes others take what is yours is broken in the name of Jesus.
I see six people in the congregation. Every spell over you is broken. Receive your freedom. Come on, take your freedom.
I started taking care of my biological father when I was 27 years old. By that age, I had full responsibility for my father, my mother, my brothers, my sisters. I honored my father and my mother before their death. There is no way I will not be blessed.
One of my sisters asked Pastor Cornelius, "Why is Daddy like this and we are like that?" I said, "My sister, it is because I am like this and you people are like that."
But there's something else: there's too much inside me. I work hard, but the other thing is that there's an overflow. I have not started preaching yet, but there's so much inside.
Rebecca said to Jacob, "Obey my voice according to that which I command you."
There is a time in your life when your secret is obedience. Obedience. Obedience. Your intelligence and your smartness at a certain point is not important. Obey my voice.
Jacob was about to obey a secondary voice, not the original voice. The original voice was Isaac. But Rebecca had heard it and was guiding Jacob.
Sometimes someone hears a tape on Facebook or YouTube and is blessed. You sit in church, the man of God puts his arms around you, and you are not blessed. You sit in the live service and you squeeze your face, elongate your nose, and uplift your cheeks. But someone far away listening says, "Oh, I heard Brother say this and that," and that person is blessed.
They heard the original word and benefited nothing because they did not mix the word with faith.
When the Bible says a man's gift will make room for him, it's not the gift of ability to sing, clap, or play football. That gift is an offering or something you carry.
Life is full of transactions. I pray that nobody takes a superior sacrifice or offering and takes your position from you. May God make you sensitive in the name of Jesus.
You can be walking about saying, "He's my father. He's my father." But Isaac was Esau's father, and yet Jacob carried the blessing. Esau went to the field to hunt venison, but he delayed.
Many of the biological children of men of God cannot receive the blessing because they depend on their father forever. When you teach them about giving and receiving, they get angry and rebel.
But strangers know how to carry a blessing because they have no sense of entitlement and no complexity. They understand the law of bringing a blessing to receive a blessing.
Don't think about your leaders who are going to die. Think about whether you will receive the mantle and the anointing before they leave. Because these anointed people will die and carry their anointing away, and nobody will have benefited from them.
Very soon, I will show you that Rebecca is a type of the Holy Ghost. You don't see it in the text now, but very soon the Holy Ghost will pop up out of the text.
I'm talking about Rebecca, the Holy Ghost. Everything Rebecca is doing to Jacob is what the Holy Ghost does to us.

Don't be afraid of speaking what the Holy Ghost has said about you. I am a priest. I am a king. I am a prophet. Am I lying? No. The Holy Ghost told me to say that.
The Holy Ghost said, "Don't say you're sick. Say you're well." The Holy Ghost said, "Don't say you're dying. Say I shall not die, but I will live to declare the works of the Lord."
When you understand the law of the venison—the law of carrying a blessing—innovation can flow. Rebecca prepared something special. She didn't just give Jacob ordinary meat. She made savory meat such as Isaac loved.
But this innovation came from understanding the law, from obedience, from the guidance of the Holy Ghost.
I want every pastor to pray: any pastor, any church, anything that looks like a church and is taking your members because it's impersonating you and impersonating your ministry—we come against impersonation in the name of Jesus.
Don't help those who impersonate you. Don't extend your hand to those who are trying to take your position. The enemy wants to use you to build their platform.
Lift up your hands. Say this after me:
"Heavenly Father, any impersonator who has been sent to take my place, to take my position, to take my blessing—I pray now. Holy Ghost, help me. Holy Ghost, I pray right now. Holy Ghost, let the Holy Ghost give me advantage. I receive advantage through the power and personality of the Holy Ghost right now in the name of Jesus.
"Any impersonator that has been sent to take my place—in the name of Jesus, by superior information from the Holy Ghost, I take my place. I take my place in the name of Jesus.
"By innovation, by creativity and divine wisdom from the Holy Ghost, I take my place. And by divine intercession, I pray right now. Let the Holy Ghost, let the angels of God, intercept every impersonator, every imposter that has gone ahead of me to take my place in the name of Jesus."
Reversing Impersonation through the Holy Ghost involves three dimensions:
Who told you? Holy Ghost. Who showed you? Holy Ghost. Who revealed it? Holy Ghost.
I pray that by the power of the Holy Ghost, anybody under the sound of my voice who is aware that somebody is impersonating you will receive information. They will ask, "How did you know this? Who told you?" And you will know it was the Holy Ghost.
I pray that any impersonator on the way to take your blessing, any impostor, any person using the spirit of witchcraft, blindfolding magic—I command you to be loose tonight in the name of Jesus.
Any boss trying to seize your wife, any man taking your wife on a track to go and misbehave—he will not arrive at his destination. I pray in the name of Jesus.
Your wife will not start looking like another man's wife. Your husband will not start looking like another woman's husband. We reverse every impersonation. We reverse every impersonation in the name of Jesus.

Many of the biological children of men of God cannot receive the blessing because they depend on their father forever. When you teach them about giving and receiving, they get angry and rebel.
But strangers know how to carry a blessing because they have no sense of entitlement and no complexity. They understand the law of bringing a blessing to receive a blessing.
Don't think about your leaders who are going to die. Think about whether you will receive the mantle and the anointing before they leave. Because these anointed people will die and carry their anointing away, and nobody will have benefited from them.
Very soon, I will show you that Rebecca is a type of the Holy Ghost. You don't see it in the text now, but very soon the Holy Ghost will pop up out of the text.
I'm talking about Rebecca, the Holy Ghost. Everything Rebecca is doing to Jacob is what the Holy Ghost does to us.
We are not qualified to go into the presence of God. But He takes the nature of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God that was slain, the skin of the kids of the goat, and puts it upon us.
Jesus Christ is hairy with the glory of God. We are smooth without the glory. But "eye has not seen, neither have ears heard the things that God has prepared for them that love him."
Jacob did not hear what Isaac said. But Rebecca heard it. The Bible says, "God has revealed them unto us by his Spirit." And the Spirit is Rebecca.
Jacob said to his father, "I am Esau, your firstborn."
Don't be afraid of speaking what the Holy Ghost has said about you. I am a priest. I am a king. I am a prophet. Am I lying? No. The Holy Ghost told me to say that.
The Holy Ghost said, "Don't say you're sick. Say you're well." The Holy Ghost said, "Don't say you're dying. Say I shall not die, but I will live to declare the works of the Lord."
When you understand the law of the venison—the law of carrying a blessing—innovation can flow. Rebecca prepared something special. She didn't just give Jacob ordinary meat. She made savory meat such as Isaac loved.
But this innovation came from understanding the law, from obedience, from the guidance of the Holy Ghost.
I want every pastor to pray: any pastor, any church, anything that looks like a church and is taking your members because it's impersonating you and impersonating your ministry—we come against impersonation in the name of Jesus.
Don't help those who impersonate you. Don't extend your hand to those who are trying to take your position. The enemy wants to use you to build their platform.
Lift up your hands. Say this after me:
"Heavenly Father, any impersonator who has been sent to take my place, to take my position, to take my blessing—I pray now. Holy Ghost, help me. Holy Ghost, I pray right now. Holy Ghost, let the Holy Ghost give me advantage. I receive advantage through the power and personality of the Holy Ghost right now in the name of Jesus.
"Any impersonator that has been sent to take my place—in the name of Jesus, by superior information from the Holy Ghost, I take my place. I take my place in the name of Jesus.
"By innovation, by creativity and divine wisdom from the Holy Ghost, I take my place. And by divine intercession, I pray right now. Let the Holy Ghost, let the angels of God, intercept every impersonator, every imposter that has gone ahead of me to take my place in the name of Jesus."
Reversing Impersonation through the Holy Ghost involves three dimensions:
Who told you? Holy Ghost. Who showed you? Holy Ghost. Who revealed it? Holy Ghost.
I pray that by the power of the Holy Ghost, anybody under the sound of my voice who is aware that somebody is impersonating you will receive information. They will ask, "How did you know this? Who told you?" And you will know it was the Holy Ghost.
I pray that any impersonator on the way to take your blessing, any impostor, any person using the spirit of witchcraft, blindfolding magic—I command you to be loose tonight in the name of Jesus.
Any boss trying to seize your wife, any man taking your wife on a track to go and misbehave—he will not arrive at his destination. I pray in the name of Jesus.
Your wife will not start looking like another man's wife. Your husband will not start looking like another woman's husband. We reverse every impersonation. We reverse every impersonation in the name of Jesus.
