The God we serve is a mighty God. With God, all things are possible. When people go through certain situations, they begin to doubt, but I want to let you know that if you have confidence in God and trust in Him, He has never disappointed those who have faith in Him.
There is a wonderful illustration from Scripture: a man looked to see what God would provide, and there was nothing. He looked a second time, third time, fourth time—still nothing. But on the seventh time, he could see something in the palm of a man's hand. The God we serve has never disappointed us.
The topic we are going through concerns blood. Remember, blood speaks. It has a voice. When you kill a human being, the blood of that human being keeps on speaking, not only in that time but for generations to come. Blood has voice.
When Cain killed his brother Abel, he thought he was free. But when God came down and asked, "Where is your brother?" Cain said, "I do not know. Am I my brother's keeper?" Then God revealed the secret: "The voice of your brother's blood cries to me from the ground."
Look at the sequence: "The voice of your brother's blood cries to me from the ground, and now you are cursed." When people shed blood, curse follows. When you kill a human being, you are under serious curse. God placed two powerful curses on Cain.
First curse: "When you till the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto you her strength." You work very hard but nothing comes of it. You are eating like a rat while working like an elephant.
Second curse: "A fugitive and a vagabond you shall be." You will keep on relocating from one place to another. You move from Houston to New York—the same problem follows. You move from New York to Washington—the same problem. You move from there to Spain, to Zaragoza, to Palma de Mallorca—the same problem. You are a fugitive. But if that curse is broken, wherever you are, you will prosper.
It is possible to break curses. When blood starts speaking and we are able to deal with it through a system or principle that has been discovered, those things that have been talking will stop. How will you know? Instant change. The things that have been difficult will go. The things that have been blocking you and made it seem impossible for you to break through will just disappear.
After counseling various people of different backgrounds from all parts of the world, I remember going to Guam, a place in South Korea. After finishing a program there, I went because I used to be a member of the board of directors of church growth. One of the people who came to my ministration said, "Please come to my place." I said, "Where are you coming from?" He said, "From Guam." I said, "Okay, let us go."
When I got to that place, my brother and sister, for the first time I realized that there is no place where Nigerians are not found. Nigerians are everywhere. I was surprised. After the ministration, God did His thing, and the glory and praise was given to God. That man has been inviting Nigerian pastors since then because he saw what God could do.
What I am saying is this: when blood is speaking against us, it is a dangerous precedent. You and I must know what we are supposed to do. You have tried everything and it did not work. You have prayed and fasted—no result. You have gone for deliverance, you have gone for prayers. You have done every kind of thing they asked you to do. You have even done acrobatic displays—and nothing worked. Why? Because blood is speaking against you. It is very strong, particularly human blood.
I was counseling somebody in a place called Alabama before I started coming here. This was a European man who came from a U.S. state. While I was counseling him, I discovered that his case was very serious. The blood that was speaking against him was not from a woman—it was from his family in the village where he was born.
Because of what the wicked people in that area saw he was going to be, they decided this would not happen in that village. About three or four of them had mirrors in the corners of their houses where they could see everybody born in that family. When another child was born, whether in Europe or America—even if the wife had just delivered a baby boy in the United States—they would say, "This one is useless. No need. This one is bright. Block this one."
They dealt with him from the moment he was born, seeing what he was going to become. They blocked him. The boy suffered terribly. He left Nigeria to come to the United States—a land of milk and honey—yet he continued suffering.
When I was counseling him, the Holy Spirit revealed to me that his case was a blood case. But what surprised me was that it was not even human blood. They saw what he was going to be, so they got a chicken—a male white fowl—and tore its neck open with their hands (not a knife) and poured the blood on the god of their land, mentioning the boy's name and saying, "He will never be useful in life."
Then they went to the god of their town and did the same thing. Then they went to the god in Lagos (which was the Nigerian capital at that time) and did the same thing again.
The boy was very brilliant. He came out top in his class. But those who failed secondary school and became multimillionaires, while he—who was top—is still cutting and managing himself, doing menial jobs here in the United States. Not that he could not have achieved, because anybody who wants to achieve here will achieve. But Jaga was following him.
When he matured and came out from secondary school to enter the university, they sacrificed a cow again. You can see the series of blood they had been sharing concerning this boy. They kept supplying those demonic gods with chicken blood, cow blood, every kind of blood.
When I counseled him and revealed this to him, I told him, "Congratulations—we have finally found out what is worrying you!"
No matter what type of blood is speaking against you, you must be able to overcome it. But the worst is when the blood of a human being is involved. It may be that you committed the offense yourself, or it may be that you are not the one who committed it. You may not even know about it, but your forefather killed people and shed blood.
Because you come from that bloodline, you begin to suffer what your forefathers did. Remember the Scripture: "The fathers have eaten soured grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge." It is not you who did it, but your forefathers did it, and it is affecting you.
It may also be that you yourself have committed such an offense. I was having a program in Nigeria in a place called Asaba, and I went to one of the branches. After I finished the ministration, I was counseling a young boy. Immediately, I heard his testimony—blood was flowing from his head down his entire body. I said, "Ah my son, you are a small boy. What has blood got to do with you? Blood is flowing from your forehead down to your leg!"
Then the boy burst into tears and cried. He said it belonged to something they call "Yahoo Yahoo Plus." I asked, "What is Yahoo Plus?" He said, "You know, Papa, I just came out from secondary school. I do Yahoo." I said, "What is Yahoo?"
He told me, "He has killed so many people. As you see him here, as small as he is, he has killed a lot of people. He shed blood." He said, "When I had your program on television, I saw it. I thought, 'No, this man understands spiritual things. This is true.' He said he has gone to so many churches, and they could not deal with it."
I said, "Come. This is what you are going to do." We ministered to this boy. The person I am telling you about today is now really in Asaba, enjoying himself. God has lifted him up from all those demonic negativities that were happening to him. Those who have been in that group with him are now giving their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ, which is good.
When we discover blood and we are able to deal with it, it may be that you are a big man—you have done a lot of good things—and yet this is holding you back. If you do not deal with it, it is going to destroy your life.
There are principles that govern the entire universe. There are laws. In fact, there is even a law that is suspending this Earth. There are physical laws. If America drives on the right-hand side and you get to London and start driving on the right, you will be arrested. Why? Because in London, they drive on the left-hand side. Saying, "Oh, I am from America—we drive right," does not hold. The law of that land is that you must drive left.
But the laws of the spirit are the most powerful. They are called spiritual laws. There are laws of prosperity. If you follow the law of prosperity, nothing can stop you from prospering. There are laws of long life, which means you will live long no matter what anybody is trying to do. There are laws of success in all your undertakings.
In the Book of Proverbs, the book of wisdom, we read: "My son, forget not my law. Let your heart keep my commandments. For length of days, long life, and peace shall be added to you."
There are three things that will happen if you do not forget God's law and keep His commandments: long life, peace, and length of days.
The Book of Proverbs also says, "Let not mercy and truth forsake you. Bind mercy and truth about your neck. Write mercy and truth upon the tables of your heart. So shall you find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man."
How have you been looking for favor? Do you have mercy? For those who offended you—what is your plan? Do you still hold them in your heart? Eventually, strife enters, and strife is the byproduct of cancer in your soul.
These are spiritual laws. They are not physical laws. They are stronger than any other kind of law. When you follow them, you will prosper. Sometimes you see people surviving demonic attacks because the demonic world has tried everything, but because these people have cleanliness of heart—they are not thinking evil of somebody—everything tried against them is not working.
They have never gone to a native doctor to seek medicine to kill another person. Their heart is so pure. No matter what any Jaga does—whether one that flies, one that goes underground, or one that goes inside the water—all of them try, but they do not get that person.
Our forefathers told you: if you bind mercy and truth about your neck, if you write mercy and truth upon the tables of your heart, so shall you find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and of man. God is not going to come down to push you or talk to you. He sends people. Human beings are the ones who are going to talk to you.
When you want wisdom, you read Proverbs. If you read one Proverbs chapter a day, you become very wise. Before you finish reading Proverbs in one month—before you get to chapter 30 or 31—you are a wise man.
There are principles that guide the entire universe. My son, forget not my law, but let your heart keep my commandments. Everything you want to produce in this life—if you want to produce something by praying without having a picture in your heart, you are just wasting time. So many Christians pray beautiful prayers, jump up and down, fall on the ground, without a picture. There is nothing to give to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the one who produces. He needs material to produce—the picture in your heart.
That is why when God wanted to create the entire world, the Bible says the earth was dark, and darkness was upon the face of the deep. But the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. First it was formless. Then God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. This means that describing the picture you have in your heart and speaking it out in words produces what you desire.
So you can decree a thing where you have a picture. It is like somebody saying, "I want to be a multimillionaire. I want to be rich." But he just says, "Multimillionaire, Father God, make me rich." No picture. He cannot see himself driving an airplane. He cannot see buying buildings. He cannot see riding the best cars. He cannot see buying planes. The only picture he sees is washing toilets. So you will end up washing toilets. What you see, that is what you become. "Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks."
Every human being on this Earth has been given two things: the ability to visualize—to see—and the creative power of God in the spoken word. You use the word to speak into existence the picture you have in your heart.
At one stage, God had to teach a man. He said, "Look to the east. Look to the west. Look to the north. Look to the south. As far as you see, you possess." The law of possession is to see. What are you seeing?
You came here—what have you come to achieve? Do you just come to be present, or do you have a picture of what you want God to do for you before the end of this month, before the end of next month? Half of this year is gone. June is here. The remaining six months start from a week's time. What have you achieved from January to June—half of the year?
On the first of January, you prayed many things. On the night of December 31st, as you were about to enter the new year, you spoke what you wanted to happen this year. How many of those things have you received? It is because if we do not have a picture of what we want, nothing happens.
Imagination is a byproduct of what you desire that you have seen in the spirit and manifest in the physical. When God came down and saw people building a city to touch heaven contrary to His instruction, He said three things were working for these people: Number one, the people were one. Number two, they all had one language. Number three, they had begun to do this. And now nothing can be restrained from them which they have imagined.
If you have imagined it, what is your imagination? What do you want to achieve from this program? Are you coming as to a normal ministration, or are you coming because there is something in your heart that has to come to manifestation—that you are going to do whatever it takes to get it?
Remember what I said: no matter how good you are—no matter how wonderful a Christian you are, no matter how much you can preach and convince people—if there is nothing happening in your life, nobody is going to believe you. Jesus Himself said, "Unless they see the son and the works, they cannot believe."
Now, how then can we as children of God stop the blood that is speaking against us?
Number one: We have to realize first of all that we are spirit beings, and we carry the power of God. Particularly when you are a born-again Christian, your power is too much compared to other people. Why? Because as a born-again child of God, you are baptized into Christ. That is what it means to be born again. As you were confessing Jesus as your Lord and personal Savior, by the action and power of the Holy Spirit, the life of God came into your spirit man. Your spirit man was recreated automatically. You were baptized into Christ, and by that baptism into Christ, you became a member of the body of Christ.
This means you can make pronouncements that the evil forces of darkness must obey. A witch who is baptized into Satan has become a Satanist and can operate satanic power. But you, because you are baptized into Christ, can operate the power of Christ. For your information, the positive supernatural controlled by God is far, far more powerful than the negative supernatural. You are far, far more powerful than anybody in negative influence.
Understanding this, you can see that commanding the blood and putting that blood to shut its mouth can be achieved by people who have the power of God. I have told people: I do not think those who refuse to give their life to Jesus will be able to achieve more than those who have. There are many things to be done in order to achieve this. Are you a born-again child of God? Do you have the spirit of God in you?
When we are born again, everything that we ever need to survive has been given to us as a born-again child of God. One day I asked somebody, "What else do you want? You are a born-again child of God. What else do you want God to do? Do you want Him to cut his neck and put it on your shoulder?" He gave you power. You can tread upon serpents and scorpions. "Behold, I give unto you power to tread upon..." He gave us salvation so that on the last day we are able to make heaven. But added to salvation is His prosperity, His good health, His divine favor, His abundance. Salvation is a package. Salvation is not only making heaven; He also intends us to enjoy here.
He gave us the highest: He gave us power to control angels. You and I can command angels—which others cannot do because it is only our prerogative. We are the only ones who can command angels, and they obey. The Book of Hebrews says, "Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?" A born-again child of God—the angels minister for you. You are the one who gives the command.
If God has given us such enormous power, what else can we not achieve? Standing to command every voice related to blood—whether chicken blood, cow blood, doves' blood, or human blood—to shut up is your prerogative as a child of God.
Now, when it comes to stopping the blood that is speaking against you, you must do fasting. I know people do not like fasting, but it has a role to play. Some of the blood you might speak to could have been the blood of dogs that they killed and shed into the oracle that they are using to speak against you from your great-grandparents. So you need a better blood: the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
What you normally do is go on a fast for seven days. It is not a serious fast from 6 to 6 (from morning to evening). I am talking about fasting from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the afternoon. For seven good days, and at the end of those seven days of fasting, remember that during the fast, all you are taking is the blood of Jesus. You are confessing the life and power of God into your life. You speak the power of God into your life.
There is the logos—the written word, the Bible. The letter kills; it is the spirit that quickens. But there is also rhema—the spoken word that you appropriate upon yourself. So there are different promises in the word of God that you can become by taking those words, appropriating them upon yourself, and becoming what the word says you are.
Every morning as you wake up, speak: "This is the blood of Jesus. As I take the blood, I am taking the divine supernatural of our Lord Jesus Christ. Oh Lord God of hosts, any other blood contrary that is speaking will no longer have power to speak against me." Mention your name and the name of your children if you like. Then you take it.
You break the bread and take the consecrated blood. Do this twice a day—in the morning and at night. If you do seven days, you will get 14 portions of the blood of Jesus (7 days × 2 per day = 14). In the morning as you wake up, take the blood of Jesus. Speak what you want the blood to do and drink. In the night, before you go to bed, break the bread again and do it.
After you have finished that seven-day fast, wait at midnight on the last night. There is something about the night. The Bible says to you and me: raise up your hand. This hand raised up in God's sanctuary has meaning. God always wants us to lift up our hands and glorify His holy name. When you do it in the sanctuary, it has meaning. But also in the night there is something specific.
That very night is the night you are going to speak against the blood. On the last day of this fasting, sometimes very difficult things will come to try to kick you out of your line and stop you from what you are doing. But you insist on it, and even if things come, you still get the blood.
Then you make your decree. After you have finished praying your normal prayer, I recommend 12 midnight. Some prefer 1:00 AM in the night. Whether 1:00 or 12:00, you stand up at that hour and make your decree. You speak. You take your scripture and declare:
"Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus, reading Psalm 91 to the end, you now make a decree: from today, here and now, every blood from my generation—or the one I have committed—I come with a higher blood, the blood that is greater than that of Abel, the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. And by this blood, I destroy, I shut up, I cancel, I cease your operation from this day forward."
You mention the date, but remember that once it is 12:00 midnight, it is the next day. So you do not mention the day that you slept; you mention the day that you have entered from 12:00 noon onward.
When you finish, you go out in the morning when you wake up. Take that same blood—put it in a cup or in a small jar—and come out. Find a place where there is sun. Then say:
"The name of the Father and Holy Spirit: I pour the blood of Jesus into this sun. It will soak in. I decree that by this action that I did this morning, Almighty Jehovah God, all the blood—both the one shed on the ground or the one they shed on God's thing or on demonic things—is destroyed. The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. In Jesus' name, I pray."
You will be shocked. You say, "I have been suffering for so long. Nothing is working. I have prayed. I have fasted. I have sown seed. I have done this. I did not get result." When blood is speaking against you, it is very dangerous, particularly when it is from your parents.
There was a man called UK who is a chief now. In those days, he used to be a chairman in our ministry. This man was very good—very, very good. He had been struggling in business. He did everything, but it did not work. It was not until we told him that it was the blood that was speaking against him that things changed. That is why I always do counseling. When a person comes to me, do not talk—shut your mouth. Allow the spirit of God to reveal the source of the problem. What is the genesis of the problem? My job is to write down what you should do.
My brothers and sisters, we must understand that as long as we are able to shut up the blood and get what we want, the devil has been defeated. I have tried to show you how powerful you are. I have tried to show you your standing with God. I have tried to show you the glory of God upon your life and the authority you have in Christ Jesus—which will give you authority to be able to stop the blood from speaking.
The Scripture says the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ is the blood that can shut up any other blood. That blood is greater than every other blood. When you plead the blood of Jesus, it goes to an extent. But when it comes to shortening the amount of the blood that is speaking against you, against your children, against your family (because you came from that bloodline), then you go the extra mile.
The blood of Jesus speaks better than the blood of Abel. How does it speak? From your mouth. When you take the blood of our Lord Jesus and you speak it out, what you are speaking is what the power in the blood produces.
As we have built ourselves up and as we continue to grow, these are the processes. But you must realize: many demonic people are in the church today. If you think everybody in the church came to listen to God, it is a lie. There are people who sometimes, if the anointing is too strong, will walk out saying they need to urinate. They come back again and keep on fretting. They are never concentrating to hear the word of God because they do not want to hear it. They are not really born again. They came to be a destruction.
First they will try to face the pastor. If they cannot get the pastor down, then they face the people in authority in the church. If they cannot get them, then they go into the midst of the congregation. It is a complete battle that we are fighting as children of God.
I went to a church and there was a woman leader—they called her Mama—who was the leader of the women. She was a complete witch, very serious. She came to see me for counseling. Immediately I said, "Madam, you know who you are. Now what are you doing here? Is it not time you repent?"
She said, "Please..." She was looking around, thinking people were hearing what I was telling her. I said, "No, they are not hearing. Madam, please. Next time I come to this church, if you are still in that thing, I will tell the whole church. I have tried. You have not tried anything. Go and confess Jesus as your Lord and personal Savior. Go and renounce and reject them. If they invite you for witchcraft, refuse to go. Come out of that nonsense because Jesus is greater than any other thing you have ever involved yourself in."
Thank God, the woman renounced it. Today she is in a better position. Every time I come, she says, "Oh, that is my papa!" They do not know why she calls me papa, because she is older than me. Why? Because she came out of that darkness into light.
You understand? We must remember that our power comes not from what we do, but from understanding the principles and appropriating them. There are promises in the Bible. For example, in Second Peter chapter 1, it says:
"According as his divine power have given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that has called us to glory and virtue."
According to His divine power, He has given to you and me all things that pertain to life and godliness. How? Through the knowledge of Him.
It also says:
"Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises that by these promises ye might become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust."
You can have the nature of God. You can be like God. How? Through promises in the word of God.
If you want to have power, there are promises about power. You confess the word, you appropriate it upon yourself, you become powerful. If you want prosperity, there are promises of prosperity. You take the word, you speak it into existence, you become what the word says you are. By appropriation upon yourself, you become what that scripture says you are.
You can get into any height by understanding the principles and laws of the supernatural. You will become a spiritual juggernaut.
It is not only pastors who are supposed to be strong. Every Christian is supposed to be strong. Why? Because when you gave your life to Jesus, you were baptized into Christ. You have the ability to build up yourself. That is why it is not good for you not to grow as a Christian.
You have to build yourself up. You have to grow in the Holy Spirit. Some people speak in tongues one way every day, every year. One day I told an assistant in my church, "Stop this. Move from this place. We have to grow spiritually. You cannot be speaking one tongue. You move from tongue to tongue." You are building up yourself.
You are so powerful. The problem is that powerful people do not know how to use the power they have. That is what is wrong with many Christians. When they follow a principle and get results, they say, "Oh papa, you are too much. Oh papa, you are a spirit." Foolish talk! Every person, if they can follow the principle—whether I told them or not—and follow it, will become what they are meant to become. These are the principles of God for everybody, not just for some people.
Move from mediocrity into maturity. Build yourself up. It is like somebody waking up early in the morning and the first thing they do is greet God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. They are creating the presence of God in their room. Your room becomes an altar. Can a witch enter the altar of God? Do you understand what I am saying?
God is a jealous God. Most of us, when we wake up, the first person we greet is our husband or our wife. "Good morning, honey. Good morning, sugar." But the Bible says God is a jealous God. If every morning your honey is the first person you greet and then your honey slaps you, you will then remember God. We let our honey hit us so that we remember God. But if every morning you wake up and greet God before greeting your husband, there is a new development.
You will start feeling something—something good. You will begin to know that something is happening. The presence of God is coming at that very time. When you wake up early in the morning and the first thing you do is greet God before greeting your husband, your honey is not angry with that. But the Bible says God is a jealous God. He did not hide His own jealousy.
We leave our honey to give us a slap so we remember God. So wake up early in the morning and say, "Good morning, Father God. Good morning, Lord. Good morning, Holy Spirit. I love you." Then you can greet your husband. You have to learn the act of building yourself up in the Holy Spirit.
There are laws of prosperity. The more you sow, the more you reap. Those who are sowing high in the church are always in a high position. Those who are sowing low remain low. The rich ones come down when they begin to reduce their hands.
In Nigeria, there is a church that is one of the biggest not only in Nigeria but in the whole of Africa—the Redeemed Church. They take the first fruit. You must bring your first salary in January and submit it to God. When you talk of wealthy people, they are there. When you talk of people in government, they are there. They even produced our vice president. So you begin to understand that there are principles. When you follow it, nothing will stop it.
Honor the Lord with your substance and with the first fruits of all your increase. So your barns shall be filled with plenty, and your presses shall burst out with new wine. This is a spiritual law. The laws of the supernatural are more powerful, more potent than any other kind of law.
As I conclude, let me say this: the God we serve is a God of wonders. He has never failed. He has never disappointed those who trust in Him.
Stand up and say this:
"Father God, as I receive knowledge, let power follow me. So that every evil plan, every satanic attempt, will never succeed. Almighty Jehovah, I serve a living God. Fill me afresh with the power of the Holy Ghost, so that out of my belly shall flow rivers of Living Water. In Jesus' name, I have life. Father God, greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. Therefore, I have overcome principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places. Father God, I am filled with the authority and power of God."
In the name of Jesus Christ, I pass this decree: Every weapon of the enemies formed or fashioned against me will never prosper. Every tongue that rises up against me in judgment, I condemn.
Speak now. "Father, I have no other God beside You. Only You. Therefore, Father, arise and fight my battle. Holy Ghost, arise and fight my battle."
This very month, June 2022, we decree: the Lord of hosts hears us now. You cannot end this month without your own testimony. We declare and decree your victory. You are filled with the power of God. Speak as an oracle of God.
Father in heaven, I thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to be in Your presence today. In the Holy Ghost, I stand, and I ask for financial abundance. Prosperity belongs to the children of God. The God of prosperity is the God we serve. Prosperity belongs to us.
Do not allow anybody to hinder your blessings. Do not allow anybody to block you. Do not allow anybody to slow you down. Prosperity belongs to us. We are people of blessing.
In Jesus' name, we prosper—financially, spiritually, and materially.
Father God, consecrate my lips and my tongue so that I will speak as an oracle. Whatever I say, results must follow. My tongue, my lips are consecrated with the fire of the Holy Ghost. Father, whatever Your children have asked on their knees, instant manifestation must follow. In the name of Jesus, manifestation must follow.
Thank you, Father. Thank you, Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name, amen.

When Cain killed his brother Abel, he thought he was free. But when God came down and asked, "Where is your brother?" Cain said, "I do not know. Am I my brother's keeper?" Then God revealed the secret: "The voice of your brother's blood cries to me from the ground."
Look at the sequence: "The voice of your brother's blood cries to me from the ground, and now you are cursed." When people shed blood, curse follows. When you kill a human being, you are under serious curse. God placed two powerful curses on Cain.
First curse: "When you till the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto you her strength." You work very hard but nothing comes of it. You are eating like a rat while working like an elephant.
Second curse: "A fugitive and a vagabond you shall be." You will keep on relocating from one place to another. You move from Houston to New York—the same problem follows. You move from New York to Washington—the same problem. You move from there to Spain, to Zaragoza, to Palma de Mallorca—the same problem. You are a fugitive. But if that curse is broken, wherever you are, you will prosper.
It is possible to break curses. When blood starts speaking and we are able to deal with it through a system or principle that has been discovered, those things that have been talking will stop. How will you know? Instant change. The things that have been difficult will go. The things that have been blocking you and made it seem impossible for you to break through will just disappear.
After counseling various people of different backgrounds from all parts of the world, I remember going to Guam, a place in South Korea. After finishing a program there, I went because I used to be a member of the board of directors of church growth. One of the people who came to my ministration said, "Please come to my place." I said, "Where are you coming from?" He said, "From Guam." I said, "Okay, let us go."
When I got to that place, my brother and sister, for the first time I realized that there is no place where Nigerians are not found. Nigerians are everywhere. I was surprised. After the ministration, God did His thing, and the glory and praise was given to God. That man has been inviting Nigerian pastors since then because he saw what God could do.
What I am saying is this: when blood is speaking against us, it is a dangerous precedent. You and I must know what we are supposed to do. You have tried everything and it did not work. You have prayed and fasted—no result. You have gone for deliverance, you have gone for prayers. You have done every kind of thing they asked you to do. You have even done acrobatic displays—and nothing worked. Why? Because blood is speaking against you. It is very strong, particularly human blood.
I was counseling somebody in a place called Alabama before I started coming here. This was a European man who came from a U.S. state. While I was counseling him, I discovered that his case was very serious. The blood that was speaking against him was not from a woman—it was from his family in the village where he was born.
Because of what the wicked people in that area saw he was going to be, they decided this would not happen in that village. About three or four of them had mirrors in the corners of their houses where they could see everybody born in that family. When another child was born, whether in Europe or America—even if the wife had just delivered a baby boy in the United States—they would say, "This one is useless. No need. This one is bright. Block this one."
They dealt with him from the moment he was born, seeing what he was going to become. They blocked him. The boy suffered terribly. He left Nigeria to come to the United States—a land of milk and honey—yet he continued suffering.
When I was counseling him, the Holy Spirit revealed to me that his case was a blood case. But what surprised me was that it was not even human blood. They saw what he was going to be, so they got a chicken—a male white fowl—and tore its neck open with their hands (not a knife) and poured the blood on the god of their land, mentioning the boy's name and saying, "He will never be useful in life."
Then they went to the god of their town and did the same thing. Then they went to the god in Lagos (which was the Nigerian capital at that time) and did the same thing again.
The boy was very brilliant. He came out top in his class. But those who failed secondary school and became multimillionaires, while he—who was top—is still cutting and managing himself, doing menial jobs here in the United States. Not that he could not have achieved, because anybody who wants to achieve here will achieve. But Jaga was following him.
When he matured and came out from secondary school to enter the university, they sacrificed a cow again. You can see the series of blood they had been sharing concerning this boy. They kept supplying those demonic gods with chicken blood, cow blood, every kind of blood.
When I counseled him and revealed this to him, I told him, "Congratulations—we have finally found out what is worrying you!"
No matter what type of blood is speaking against you, you must be able to overcome it. But the worst is when the blood of a human being is involved. It may be that you committed the offense yourself, or it may be that you are not the one who committed it. You may not even know about it, but your forefather killed people and shed blood.
Because you come from that bloodline, you begin to suffer what your forefathers did. Remember the Scripture: "The fathers have eaten soured grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge." It is not you who did it, but your forefathers did it, and it is affecting you.
It may also be that you yourself have committed such an offense. I was having a program in Nigeria in a place called Asaba, and I went to one of the branches. After I finished the ministration, I was counseling a young boy. Immediately, I heard his testimony—blood was flowing from his head down his entire body. I said, "Ah my son, you are a small boy. What has blood got to do with you? Blood is flowing from your forehead down to your leg!"
Then the boy burst into tears and cried. He said it belonged to something they call "Yahoo Yahoo Plus." I asked, "What is Yahoo Plus?" He said, "You know, Papa, I just came out from secondary school. I do Yahoo." I said, "What is Yahoo?"
He told me, "He has killed so many people. As you see him here, as small as he is, he has killed a lot of people. He shed blood." He said, "When I had your program on television, I saw it. I thought, 'No, this man understands spiritual things. This is true.' He said he has gone to so many churches, and they could not deal with it."
I said, "Come. This is what you are going to do." We ministered to this boy. The person I am telling you about today is now really in Asaba, enjoying himself. God has lifted him up from all those demonic negativities that were happening to him. Those who have been in that group with him are now giving their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ, which is good.
When we discover blood and we are able to deal with it, it may be that you are a big man—you have done a lot of good things—and yet this is holding you back. If you do not deal with it, it is going to destroy your life.
There are principles that govern the entire universe. There are laws. In fact, there is even a law that is suspending this Earth. There are physical laws. If America drives on the right-hand side and you get to London and start driving on the right, you will be arrested. Why? Because in London, they drive on the left-hand side. Saying, "Oh, I am from America—we drive right," does not hold. The law of that land is that you must drive left.
But the laws of the spirit are the most powerful. They are called spiritual laws. There are laws of prosperity. If you follow the law of prosperity, nothing can stop you from prospering. There are laws of long life, which means you will live long no matter what anybody is trying to do. There are laws of success in all your undertakings.
In the Book of Proverbs, the book of wisdom, we read: "My son, forget not my law. Let your heart keep my commandments. For length of days, long life, and peace shall be added to you."
There are three things that will happen if you do not forget God's law and keep His commandments: long life, peace, and length of days.
The Book of Proverbs also says, "Let not mercy and truth forsake you. Bind mercy and truth about your neck. Write mercy and truth upon the tables of your heart. So shall you find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man."
How have you been looking for favor? Do you have mercy? For those who offended you—what is your plan? Do you still hold them in your heart? Eventually, strife enters, and strife is the byproduct of cancer in your soul.
These are spiritual laws. They are not physical laws. They are stronger than any other kind of law. When you follow them, you will prosper. Sometimes you see people surviving demonic attacks because the demonic world has tried everything, but because these people have cleanliness of heart—they are not thinking evil of somebody—everything tried against them is not working.
They have never gone to a native doctor to seek medicine to kill another person. Their heart is so pure. No matter what any Jaga does—whether one that flies, one that goes underground, or one that goes inside the water—all of them try, but they do not get that person.
Our forefathers told you: if you bind mercy and truth about your neck, if you write mercy and truth upon the tables of your heart, so shall you find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and of man. God is not going to come down to push you or talk to you. He sends people. Human beings are the ones who are going to talk to you.
When you want wisdom, you read Proverbs. If you read one Proverbs chapter a day, you become very wise. Before you finish reading Proverbs in one month—before you get to chapter 30 or 31—you are a wise man.
There are principles that guide the entire universe. My son, forget not my law, but let your heart keep my commandments. Everything you want to produce in this life—if you want to produce something by praying without having a picture in your heart, you are just wasting time. So many Christians pray beautiful prayers, jump up and down, fall on the ground, without a picture. There is nothing to give to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the one who produces. He needs material to produce—the picture in your heart.
That is why when God wanted to create the entire world, the Bible says the earth was dark, and darkness was upon the face of the deep. But the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. First it was formless. Then God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. This means that describing the picture you have in your heart and speaking it out in words produces what you desire.
So you can decree a thing where you have a picture. It is like somebody saying, "I want to be a multimillionaire. I want to be rich." But he just says, "Multimillionaire, Father God, make me rich." No picture. He cannot see himself driving an airplane. He cannot see buying buildings. He cannot see riding the best cars. He cannot see buying planes. The only picture he sees is washing toilets. So you will end up washing toilets. What you see, that is what you become. "Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks."
Every human being on this Earth has been given two things: the ability to visualize—to see—and the creative power of God in the spoken word. You use the word to speak into existence the picture you have in your heart.
At one stage, God had to teach a man. He said, "Look to the east. Look to the west. Look to the north. Look to the south. As far as you see, you possess." The law of possession is to see. What are you seeing?
You came here—what have you come to achieve? Do you just come to be present, or do you have a picture of what you want God to do for you before the end of this month, before the end of next month? Half of this year is gone. June is here. The remaining six months start from a week's time. What have you achieved from January to June—half of the year?
On the first of January, you prayed many things. On the night of December 31st, as you were about to enter the new year, you spoke what you wanted to happen this year. How many of those things have you received? It is because if we do not have a picture of what we want, nothing happens.
Imagination is a byproduct of what you desire that you have seen in the spirit and manifest in the physical. When God came down and saw people building a city to touch heaven contrary to His instruction, He said three things were working for these people: Number one, the people were one. Number two, they all had one language. Number three, they had begun to do this. And now nothing can be restrained from them which they have imagined.
If you have imagined it, what is your imagination? What do you want to achieve from this program? Are you coming as to a normal ministration, or are you coming because there is something in your heart that has to come to manifestation—that you are going to do whatever it takes to get it?
Remember what I said: no matter how good you are—no matter how wonderful a Christian you are, no matter how much you can preach and convince people—if there is nothing happening in your life, nobody is going to believe you. Jesus Himself said, "Unless they see the son and the works, they cannot believe."
Now, how then can we as children of God stop the blood that is speaking against us?
Number one: We have to realize first of all that we are spirit beings, and we carry the power of God. Particularly when you are a born-again Christian, your power is too much compared to other people. Why? Because as a born-again child of God, you are baptized into Christ. That is what it means to be born again. As you were confessing Jesus as your Lord and personal Savior, by the action and power of the Holy Spirit, the life of God came into your spirit man. Your spirit man was recreated automatically. You were baptized into Christ, and by that baptism into Christ, you became a member of the body of Christ.
This means you can make pronouncements that the evil forces of darkness must obey. A witch who is baptized into Satan has become a Satanist and can operate satanic power. But you, because you are baptized into Christ, can operate the power of Christ. For your information, the positive supernatural controlled by God is far, far more powerful than the negative supernatural. You are far, far more powerful than anybody in negative influence.
Understanding this, you can see that commanding the blood and putting that blood to shut its mouth can be achieved by people who have the power of God. I have told people: I do not think those who refuse to give their life to Jesus will be able to achieve more than those who have. There are many things to be done in order to achieve this. Are you a born-again child of God? Do you have the spirit of God in you?
When we are born again, everything that we ever need to survive has been given to us as a born-again child of God. One day I asked somebody, "What else do you want? You are a born-again child of God. What else do you want God to do? Do you want Him to cut his neck and put it on your shoulder?" He gave you power. You can tread upon serpents and scorpions. "Behold, I give unto you power to tread upon..." He gave us salvation so that on the last day we are able to make heaven. But added to salvation is His prosperity, His good health, His divine favor, His abundance. Salvation is a package. Salvation is not only making heaven; He also intends us to enjoy here.
He gave us the highest: He gave us power to control angels. You and I can command angels—which others cannot do because it is only our prerogative. We are the only ones who can command angels, and they obey. The Book of Hebrews says, "Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?" A born-again child of God—the angels minister for you. You are the one who gives the command.
If God has given us such enormous power, what else can we not achieve? Standing to command every voice related to blood—whether chicken blood, cow blood, doves' blood, or human blood—to shut up is your prerogative as a child of God.
Now, when it comes to stopping the blood that is speaking against you, you must do fasting. I know people do not like fasting, but it has a role to play. Some of the blood you might speak to could have been the blood of dogs that they killed and shed into the oracle that they are using to speak against you from your great-grandparents. So you need a better blood: the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
What you normally do is go on a fast for seven days. It is not a serious fast from 6 to 6 (from morning to evening). I am talking about fasting from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the afternoon. For seven good days, and at the end of those seven days of fasting, remember that during the fast, all you are taking is the blood of Jesus. You are confessing the life and power of God into your life. You speak the power of God into your life.
There is the logos—the written word, the Bible. The letter kills; it is the spirit that quickens. But there is also rhema—the spoken word that you appropriate upon yourself. So there are different promises in the word of God that you can become by taking those words, appropriating them upon yourself, and becoming what the word says you are.
Every morning as you wake up, speak: "This is the blood of Jesus. As I take the blood, I am taking the divine supernatural of our Lord Jesus Christ. Oh Lord God of hosts, any other blood contrary that is speaking will no longer have power to speak against me." Mention your name and the name of your children if you like. Then you take it.
You break the bread and take the consecrated blood. Do this twice a day—in the morning and at night. If you do seven days, you will get 14 portions of the blood of Jesus (7 days × 2 per day = 14). In the morning as you wake up, take the blood of Jesus. Speak what you want the blood to do and drink. In the night, before you go to bed, break the bread again and do it.
After you have finished that seven-day fast, wait at midnight on the last night. There is something about the night. The Bible says to you and me: raise up your hand. This hand raised up in God's sanctuary has meaning. God always wants us to lift up our hands and glorify His holy name. When you do it in the sanctuary, it has meaning. But also in the night there is something specific.
That very night is the night you are going to speak against the blood. On the last day of this fasting, sometimes very difficult things will come to try to kick you out of your line and stop you from what you are doing. But you insist on it, and even if things come, you still get the blood.
Then you make your decree. After you have finished praying your normal prayer, I recommend 12 midnight. Some prefer 1:00 AM in the night. Whether 1:00 or 12:00, you stand up at that hour and make your decree. You speak. You take your scripture and declare:
"Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus, reading Psalm 91 to the end, you now make a decree: from today, here and now, every blood from my generation—or the one I have committed—I come with a higher blood, the blood that is greater than that of Abel, the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. And by this blood, I destroy, I shut up, I cancel, I cease your operation from this day forward."
You mention the date, but remember that once it is 12:00 midnight, it is the next day. So you do not mention the day that you slept; you mention the day that you have entered from 12:00 noon onward.
When you finish, you go out in the morning when you wake up. Take that same blood—put it in a cup or in a small jar—and come out. Find a place where there is sun. Then say:
"The name of the Father and Holy Spirit: I pour the blood of Jesus into this sun. It will soak in. I decree that by this action that I did this morning, Almighty Jehovah God, all the blood—both the one shed on the ground or the one they shed on God's thing or on demonic things—is destroyed. The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. In Jesus' name, I pray."
You will be shocked. You say, "I have been suffering for so long. Nothing is working. I have prayed. I have fasted. I have sown seed. I have done this. I did not get result." When blood is speaking against you, it is very dangerous, particularly when it is from your parents.
There was a man called UK who is a chief now. In those days, he used to be a chairman in our ministry. This man was very good—very, very good. He had been struggling in business. He did everything, but it did not work. It was not until we told him that it was the blood that was speaking against him that things changed. That is why I always do counseling. When a person comes to me, do not talk—shut your mouth. Allow the spirit of God to reveal the source of the problem. What is the genesis of the problem? My job is to write down what you should do.
My brothers and sisters, we must understand that as long as we are able to shut up the blood and get what we want, the devil has been defeated. I have tried to show you how powerful you are. I have tried to show you your standing with God. I have tried to show you the glory of God upon your life and the authority you have in Christ Jesus—which will give you authority to be able to stop the blood from speaking.
The Scripture says the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ is the blood that can shut up any other blood. That blood is greater than every other blood. When you plead the blood of Jesus, it goes to an extent. But when it comes to shortening the amount of the blood that is speaking against you, against your children, against your family (because you came from that bloodline), then you go the extra mile.
The blood of Jesus speaks better than the blood of Abel. How does it speak? From your mouth. When you take the blood of our Lord Jesus and you speak it out, what you are speaking is what the power in the blood produces.
As we have built ourselves up and as we continue to grow, these are the processes. But you must realize: many demonic people are in the church today. If you think everybody in the church came to listen to God, it is a lie. There are people who sometimes, if the anointing is too strong, will walk out saying they need to urinate. They come back again and keep on fretting. They are never concentrating to hear the word of God because they do not want to hear it. They are not really born again. They came to be a destruction.
First they will try to face the pastor. If they cannot get the pastor down, then they face the people in authority in the church. If they cannot get them, then they go into the midst of the congregation. It is a complete battle that we are fighting as children of God.
I went to a church and there was a woman leader—they called her Mama—who was the leader of the women. She was a complete witch, very serious. She came to see me for counseling. Immediately I said, "Madam, you know who you are. Now what are you doing here? Is it not time you repent?"
She said, "Please..." She was looking around, thinking people were hearing what I was telling her. I said, "No, they are not hearing. Madam, please. Next time I come to this church, if you are still in that thing, I will tell the whole church. I have tried. You have not tried anything. Go and confess Jesus as your Lord and personal Savior. Go and renounce and reject them. If they invite you for witchcraft, refuse to go. Come out of that nonsense because Jesus is greater than any other thing you have ever involved yourself in."
Thank God, the woman renounced it. Today she is in a better position. Every time I come, she says, "Oh, that is my papa!" They do not know why she calls me papa, because she is older than me. Why? Because she came out of that darkness into light.
You understand? We must remember that our power comes not from what we do, but from understanding the principles and appropriating them. There are promises in the Bible. For example, in Second Peter chapter 1, it says:
"According as his divine power have given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that has called us to glory and virtue."
According to His divine power, He has given to you and me all things that pertain to life and godliness. How? Through the knowledge of Him.
It also says:
"Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises that by these promises ye might become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust."
You can have the nature of God. You can be like God. How? Through promises in the word of God.
If you want to have power, there are promises about power. You confess the word, you appropriate it upon yourself, you become powerful. If you want prosperity, there are promises of prosperity. You take the word, you speak it into existence, you become what the word says you are. By appropriation upon yourself, you become what that scripture says you are.
You can get into any height by understanding the principles and laws of the supernatural. You will become a spiritual juggernaut.
It is not only pastors who are supposed to be strong. Every Christian is supposed to be strong. Why? Because when you gave your life to Jesus, you were baptized into Christ. You have the ability to build up yourself. That is why it is not good for you not to grow as a Christian.
You have to build yourself up. You have to grow in the Holy Spirit. Some people speak in tongues one way every day, every year. One day I told an assistant in my church, "Stop this. Move from this place. We have to grow spiritually. You cannot be speaking one tongue. You move from tongue to tongue." You are building up yourself.
You are so powerful. The problem is that powerful people do not know how to use the power they have. That is what is wrong with many Christians. When they follow a principle and get results, they say, "Oh papa, you are too much. Oh papa, you are a spirit." Foolish talk! Every person, if they can follow the principle—whether I told them or not—and follow it, will become what they are meant to become. These are the principles of God for everybody, not just for some people.
Move from mediocrity into maturity. Build yourself up. It is like somebody waking up early in the morning and the first thing they do is greet God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. They are creating the presence of God in their room. Your room becomes an altar. Can a witch enter the altar of God? Do you understand what I am saying?
God is a jealous God. Most of us, when we wake up, the first person we greet is our husband or our wife. "Good morning, honey. Good morning, sugar." But the Bible says God is a jealous God. If every morning your honey is the first person you greet and then your honey slaps you, you will then remember God. We let our honey hit us so that we remember God. But if every morning you wake up and greet God before greeting your husband, there is a new development.
You will start feeling something—something good. You will begin to know that something is happening. The presence of God is coming at that very time. When you wake up early in the morning and the first thing you do is greet God before greeting your husband, your honey is not angry with that. But the Bible says God is a jealous God. He did not hide His own jealousy.
We leave our honey to give us a slap so we remember God. So wake up early in the morning and say, "Good morning, Father God. Good morning, Lord. Good morning, Holy Spirit. I love you." Then you can greet your husband. You have to learn the act of building yourself up in the Holy Spirit.
There are laws of prosperity. The more you sow, the more you reap. Those who are sowing high in the church are always in a high position. Those who are sowing low remain low. The rich ones come down when they begin to reduce their hands.
In Nigeria, there is a church that is one of the biggest not only in Nigeria but in the whole of Africa—the Redeemed Church. They take the first fruit. You must bring your first salary in January and submit it to God. When you talk of wealthy people, they are there. When you talk of people in government, they are there. They even produced our vice president. So you begin to understand that there are principles. When you follow it, nothing will stop it.
Honor the Lord with your substance and with the first fruits of all your increase. So your barns shall be filled with plenty, and your presses shall burst out with new wine. This is a spiritual law. The laws of the supernatural are more powerful, more potent than any other kind of law.
As I conclude, let me say this: the God we serve is a God of wonders. He has never failed. He has never disappointed those who trust in Him.
Stand up and say this:
"Father God, as I receive knowledge, let power follow me. So that every evil plan, every satanic attempt, will never succeed. Almighty Jehovah, I serve a living God. Fill me afresh with the power of the Holy Ghost, so that out of my belly shall flow rivers of Living Water. In Jesus' name, I have life. Father God, greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. Therefore, I have overcome principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places. Father God, I am filled with the authority and power of God."
In the name of Jesus Christ, I pass this decree: Every weapon of the enemies formed or fashioned against me will never prosper. Every tongue that rises up against me in judgment, I condemn.
Speak now. "Father, I have no other God beside You. Only You. Therefore, Father, arise and fight my battle. Holy Ghost, arise and fight my battle."
This very month, June 2022, we decree: the Lord of hosts hears us now. You cannot end this month without your own testimony. We declare and decree your victory. You are filled with the power of God. Speak as an oracle of God.
Father in heaven, I thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to be in Your presence today. In the Holy Ghost, I stand, and I ask for financial abundance. Prosperity belongs to the children of God. The God of prosperity is the God we serve. Prosperity belongs to us.
Do not allow anybody to hinder your blessings. Do not allow anybody to block you. Do not allow anybody to slow you down. Prosperity belongs to us. We are people of blessing.
In Jesus' name, we prosper—financially, spiritually, and materially.
Father God, consecrate my lips and my tongue so that I will speak as an oracle. Whatever I say, results must follow. My tongue, my lips are consecrated with the fire of the Holy Ghost. Father, whatever Your children have asked on their knees, instant manifestation must follow. In the name of Jesus, manifestation must follow.
Thank you, Father. Thank you, Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name, amen.
